11kgm have you deleted the settings and verified the cahce etc ?

If you're unsure how to do it thne these should help:

First of all I would try verifying it and seeing if it works

quote
Steam > Right Click Football Manager 2012 > Properties > Local Files Tab > Verify Integrity of Game Cache
If you need to delete cache files as they're corrupted then this should help:

quote Crowy
To do this follow either of these paths depending on your Operating System.

Windows XP:
C:\Users\<User Name\App Data\

Vista and 7:
C:\Users\<User Name>\App Data\Roaming

Once you can see inside those folders delete the Sports Interactive Folder.

If you can’t see those folders you will have to make “Hidden” files viewable.

For Vista and 7:
In a window, go to 'Organize'->'Folder and Search Options'->'View'-> and select 'Show hidden files and folders'.

For XP:
Make sure you are able to see hidden folders:
When in a window, go to 'Tools'->'Folder Options'->'View'-> and make sure 'Show hidden files and folders' is selected.
and if none of them work as a last resort I would delete the settings folder:

quote Crowy
Try deleting the Settings folder from the following program path as detailed below:

- Windows XP:

My Computer -> Local Disk (C -> Documents and Settings -> <username> -> Application Data -> Sports Interactive -> Football Manager 2012 -> Settings

- Windows Vista / Windows 7:

Computer -> Local Disk (C -> Users -> <username> -> AppData -> Roaming -> Sports Interactive -> Football Manager 2012 -> Settings

Please note saved progress may be lost.

Once deleted restart your computer and try launching the game again.

If you are unable to locate the folders please ensure that hidden folders are enabled as detailed below:

- Click on Start
- Select Control Panel
- Select Folder Options*
- Select View
- Select Show Hidden files and folders

*If Folder Options is not shown:

Windows XP/Vista : Select Classic View from the Control Panel.
Windows 7 : Select Large Icons from View By

I'm unsure from your original post whether you have tried these or you need help trying these so if it is the latter I would suggest these 3 options in that order.

Done all 3

Crowy

I have to play the game in offline mode to get rid of the Run Time Error. Then i get a not well formed error. So i turned steam back online verified the Cache and it is now downloading something to fix that. I think it re-downloaded FM12, i am starting a fresh with a new FM12 i think , but i am still having some problems

It will be re downloading the settings and it will be downloading if there's any problems with update files too I'd assume.

What problems you still having ?

That's a XML Parsing error, do number 3 again. Will be a problem with the settings.

This is such a weird issue, the things I've suggested on here from what I can see has fixed it for some and not for others. Is it happening in your Everton save ? As I'm assuming the database on that would be fairly big now ?

Also do you play in 2D or 3D?

I would of assumed it was with the database size etc, does it only happen in games or just at any given point ?

During games at around half time.
I play 3D and Minimized
