Wow, this thread separated the men from the boys. I think that anybody using Assassin instead of Quickdraw or Hardline on an Assault Rifle class is a bit of a puss. The only class that doesn't benefit greatly from the aim down sights quicker are the shotguns and sub machine guns, and they are the only ones getting close enough to the enemy to benefit the greatest from the enemy not knowing their location. Everybody else using Assassin just wants to use an overpowered perk.
I use Assassin on all of my classes because I only play SnD and I don't want to have to deal with Portable Radars and Heartbeat Sensors.

Anyway, my best classes would have to be with the ACR RDS, MP7 Extended Mags or PP90M1 Extended Mags. Extreme Condition + Assassin + Dead Silence with Focus/Stability = Killer.

Yeah if i could write that post again I would specify that SnD is different from other game modes, being that death means more than just 'press x to respawn'. Assassin is perfectly fine on a search class for the reasons you've stated and my snd
class has exactly the same perks as yours

Thank you but no thank u hardline tops it even in snd because u need those killstreaks otherwise i would agree with u

SND's not about killstreaks, a lot of people run Blind Eye dude. On my SnD class I run with Specialist anyway, and running with Hardline just means it takes 1 kill to get Assassin instead of 0.

Type 95 / Red Dot Sight & Suppressor
FMG9 / Akimbo
Claymore
Portable Radar
Blind Eye Pro
Assassin Pro
Sitrep Pro (to better soundwhore enemies as they run past my corner)
Dead Man's Hand

Use that setup all game every game. Love it.
Ummm...... NOOB!!!! Run past my corner?! No!! Its people like you who ruin the game by camping and type 95ing every1 in sight. Do us a favor and try something NOT NOOBY!! no camping, no type 95 or ACR and definitely no striker
I took your advice and made two new classes that don't consist of the Type 95 (my 5 classes were all Type 95 before). I now use the MP7 with a Silencer which in some cases actually drops the enemy faster than even the T95 as they run past my camp spot and I also use the ACR with a Silencer and a Heartbeat Sensor. How's that for variation?!

So yeah, thanks for the help!

Try Assassin on both of those classes, and if you're really daring and really want to step out of your shell run a silenced sniper with Blind Eye, Assassin Pro and Dead Silence Pro (you cant have pro'd Blind Eye, if you have it shows you're not a douche that plays solely for yourself). I hear that the stealth perks are actually designed for snipers, I'd know, because XoTiC x SniPeZz told me! Thank god there are those of us still being dickheads in the computer, makes the game refreshing for those who have balls

Why don't you just whip out your MSR with quickdraw and 360 wall-bang reverse-barrel-roll summa-sault 720 no-scope someone?

And then use your FMG-9s to finish off the rest:)

People who use Steady Aim on a sniper class annoy me. What possible reason is there not to use Marksman? And if you occassionally trickshot or sound whore why not Dead Silence, which is my personal choice. Using Steady Aim justs screams 'I will no skill barrett spray you if you come close, I can't aim!'

Mainly for like objective game modes, it bothers me so much when a helicopter is in the sky raping the entire team and nobody makes the effort to get rid of it. So I made this class just for it.

Stinger

EMP Grenade
Semtex

Blind Eye Pro
Assassin Pro
Sitrep

Found my new favorite class this weekend. It is also proving to be my best.

Primary: PKP Pecheneg
Attachments: Grip w/ Impact (or) Rapid Fire w/ Kick
Secondary: SMAW
Lethal: C4
Tactical: Smoke Grenade
Perk 1: Blind-Eye Pro
Perk 2: Hardline Pro
Perk 3: Marksman Pro
Strike Package: Specialist- Assassin, Quickdraw, Sleight of Hand

The PKP Pecheneg is an under-rated gun. It's really accurate and the recoil isn't too bad. Normally takes 4 shots to kill, but with 100-rounds in a belt, it's no problem. Iron sights are good, eliminating the need for RDS or other sight.

The SMAW is a decent anti-air launcher. I use it to take down weaker killstreaks. Since the SMAW is rather weak against most air support, i'll use the PKP to finish it off. Good for anything up to Attack Choppers. But the SMAW is the most useful for anti-infantry, clearing out areas such as the house in Fallen, and the tunnel in Hardhat.

C4 makes a bigger bang then grenades.
Smoke is useful as a distraction, as well as an escape opportunity.
Blind-Eye is a good choice for obvious reasons. Could be switched out for SOH.

Hardline Pro is important. The PKP is a great LMG, but it's also an assist magnet. I'll end a TDM game with 8 assists on average with this gun.

Marksman Pro is an under-rated perk, it is extremely useful. There are alot of times that I wouldn't have been able to see the enemy if it wasn't for this perk.

Assassin, Quickdraw, and Sleight of Hand are great specialist perks for an LMG class.

With this set-up, your playstyle needs to change. You can't rush with an LMG very well, so the best way to play is to act as your team's support man. Stay with the majority of your team, and lay down cover fire from behind. Hold and defend areas of the map, push the enemies back to the spawn. The PKP takes alot to get used to, but in the right hands, it's a monster.

Because Steady Aim Pro stacked with Quickdraw means ridiculous ADS time? And seeing as it's a quickscoping class, the pro variant of Marksman is useless. Also, *bleep*ing lol Zero, you and that idiot gave me a chuckle.

Anyways, here's a few classes, I've had 2 MOAB's on CTF with the first one so it does do work and not just for messing about when bored.
