Games been out enough time for most people to get to know what guns they like, and what guns they don't and such, and I haven't seen a Recommended classes thread yet, so here we go

Please use the template below:

Perk 1:
Perk 2:
Perk 3:
Strike Package:
Death Streak:
Reasons For Recommendation:

So I guess I'll get the ball rolling

Primary: Silenced Scar L OR Type 95 with Rapid Fire/Extended Mags
Secondary: Anything, I prefer a stinger
Lethal: Again, anything
Tactical: I never stray from a Concussion grenade
Perk 1: Doesn't matter too much, but I recommend Blind Eye or SoH
Perk 2: Hardline
Perk 3: Stalker/Marksman/Dead Silence
Strike Package: Specialist(Any perks, but I recommend assassin as your first KS)
Death Streak: Any
Reasons For Recommendation: This class helps me level so quickly, especially when you get the specialist bonus

If there is any problems with this thread, then just remove it I guess

Primary: ACR Silenced/Extended Mags
Lethal: Any
Tactical: Any
Perk 1: Scavenger/Exteme Conditioning
Perk 2: Hardline
Perk 3: Dead Silence/Steady Aim
Strike Package:
Death Streak: Any

Reasons For Recommendation: Great for EXP and for general kills. You can get near enough to the enemy at the start to pick them off from a medium distance. Specialist then helps when you have all the perks at 7 kills.

Primary: ACR with rds and silencer
Secondary: mp9 silenced
Lethal: bouncing betties
Tactical: Concussion grenade
Perk 1: Blind Eye Pro
Perk 2: Assasin Pro
Perk 3: Stalker Pro
Strike Package: Pred/Air Strike/Helecopter
Death Streak: Last Stand
Reasons For Recommendation: Survivability and mobility. You are invisible to everything with silenced weapons, blind eye, and Assasin. Stalker allows you to keep moving and not have to worry about lethals. Bouncing betties are fun to throw next to a car for that extra POW! Strike package allows for back-to-back-to-back kill streaks. Last Stand, because it's the only thing that could bring you back to keep you streak going.

If a team had this set-up, you wouldn't need launchers to take down anything. This is set up for max k/d ratio when playing a team that moves too. If they are all bunkered down in a building defending, it would need to be tweeked. Every class has a weekness, as does about every perk, which is why I think this CoD is the most balanced.

Primary: KSG-12 w/Silencer (or Extended Mags if you have it)
Secondary: Akimbo P99's/USP.45's
Lethal: Semtex
Tactical: Portable Radar
Perk 1: Extreme Conditioning Pro
Perk 2: Assassin Pro
Perk 3: Steady Aim Pro
Strike Package: Support (UAV, CUAV, AUAV)
Death Streak: Dead Man's Hand
Reasons For Recommendation: Okay, we all know the shotguns in this game are terrible weapons compared to the automatic weapons in this game, however I've found the KSG-12 to be quite useful. It's one of the only guns I can find that keeps a good damage per shot with a sniper rifle, while the others lose TOO much range and damage. I can consistantly 1 shot people up close with this single weapon in close quarter encounters. This class generally shines on Carbon for some reason, not sure of WHY, but it does. You want the Portable Radar to see if someone is within your close area, allowing you to take them by suprise when you see them. The Perks' here are pretty self explanitory. You want Extreme Conditioning to get as close to the enemy as possible since you have limited range, Assassin to get around all these UAV's and other radar killstreaks so you aren't killed long range or expcted, and Steady Aim pro to allow hip firing to be more effective. The last perk CAN be switched out for Dead Silence if you need the extra silence, but it's almost uneeded.

I will add that I have switched the "Air Strike" to UAV lately as I only get that 1 kill I need with the AS about 50% of the time, and UAV helps the whole team get to their Kill Streaks. I've currently prestiged once and am now at lvl 50, so have some hours logged with a k/d of 1.8 (got owned until I understood the game more at the beginning). I've pretty much fully prestiged with the past CoD (except W@W), so experienced enough IMO to give an opinion.

Primary: cm901 silencer/extended mags. G36 ext mags.
Secondary:.44 magnum akimbo/mp9 extended mags
Lethal:throwing knife/semtex
Tactical:flash/ emp grenade
Perks: soh/extreme conditioning.. Assassin/quickdraw..stalker/sitrep
Strike:assualt(whatevers comfortable for you. Prefer cuav)
Reasons: I'm a run and gun player and I play a lot of demolition and search and destroy. I'm one of those guys everyone hates because I usually either rush in too quick and die. Or take out half the enemy team within the 1st 20 seconds of the match. Assassin is basically the most critical perk for me because I need to stay hidden when running around. Also extreme conditioning so you can outrun your opponent. While he/she reloads. And I tend to stick to assualt rifles because their my more comfortable choice in primarys. Along with the mp9 because its beast. Or akimbo magnums to have a little fun. They can take out a whole team you know.

Primary: ACR - silencer - Kick
Secondary: Not sure at the moment
Lethal: Bouncing Betty
Tactical: EMP Grenade
Perk 1: Sleight of Hand Pro
Perk 2: Quick Draw Pro
Perk 3: Steady Aim Pro
Strike Package: Support (UAV, aUAV, Stealth Bomber/EMP/Sam Turret
Death Streak: Final Stand
Reasons For Recommendation: Unless you come up against a guy using the same perks but with a sub machine gun, you'll be first to hit the guy. Steady Aim is pretty beast because you can literally hipfire them from quite a distance, especially with the sub machine guns. ACR, for me, is good enough with a sight needed. I'm using kick on it just so that there is no recoil whatsoever ()

Betties are good for throwing on choke points and can get kills. Semtex's and frags are useless. EMP Grenade is pretty beast and can leave the guy confused on where to aim. Sometimes backfires though. I'm a team player so I prefer the support streaks.

Primary: MP5 w/ Silencer (kick or ranged)
Secondary: Hangun w/ Tactical Knife
Lethal: Semtex
Tactical: Flash Grenade
Perk 1: Extreme Conditioning/ Sleight of Hand
Perk 2: Quick Draw/ Assassin
Perk 3: Dead Silence/ Stalker
Strike Package: Support (Advance UAV, Stealth Bomber, EMP)
Death Streak: Any
Reasons For Recommendation: you can make this set up early on and it's easy to use and powerful. Out of the perks the first ones listed of the two are recommended and the latter is a great alternative.

Early set up perks would be Sleight of Hand, Quick Draw, Stalker

Tactical: Concussion
Perk 1: Extreme Conditioning/Scavenger
Perk 2: Assassin/Hardline

The default class I use for most fights and since I was an early level:

Primary: CM901 hybrid sight/kick/stability
Secondary: The second machine pistol you unlock
Lethal: Bouncing betty
Tactical: flash bang, although I may start using concussion
Perk 1: slieght of hand pro
Perk 2: hardline pro
Perk 3: marksman
Strike Package: assault, I use predator/attack heli/assault drone
Death Streak: That sprint one, I almost never get it anyway
Reasons For Recommendation: This class is a great all around class. Its more for tactical players who locate their enemies and take them out from medium to long range distances. The hybrid sight combined with stability or kick lets you take out enemies from a far distance that you can pick out easily with marksman. And when you go into close combat you can always pull back the hybrid sight and turn it into a holographic or pull out your machine pistol if its really tight.

Primary: PP90M1 (Kick and Silencer)(This gun is a beast)
Secondary:USP (Comes out quick and doesnt take too many bullets to kill, especially if you are just finishing them off)
Tactical:Flash (Great for chucking round a corner just to see if anyone is there as they have a massive blash radius i find)
Perk 1:Slight of Hand Pro
Perk 2:Hard Line Pro
Perk 3:Dead Silence (A must if you own a headset imo)
Strike Package:Assault (Predator, Airstrike, Reaper)
Death Streak:Any.
Reasons For Recommendation:The set up is great to get a lot of kills. You have to be fairly fast and accurate though to take full advantage of it. I'd reccomend a higher sensitivty than the default one, i think i use 7.

The kill streaks are pretty effective too, Four kills for Predator, that should always get you one more for the airstrike which should at least get you one more (usually two or three though if you are effective), and then you only need three for the reaper.

Whist using Hardline pro, stun or flash anything that moves, two assists = one kill point, which makes it so much easier to get that first predator. Also, with the silencer on the primary, just pop one or two shots onto targets far away, then hopfully a teammate will gain you an assist.

Finally, stick to shooting enemies at close to mid range, you will waste too much ammo trying to kill them if usually.

I use this class on 90% of maps and my KD has been rising quickly.

Primary: MSR w/impact & extended mags
Secondary: Riot Shield
Lethal: C4
Tactical: Stuns
Perk 1: Sleight of hand
Perk 2: Overkill
Perk 3: Marksman
Strike Package: Ballistic vests (what more do you need??)
Death Streak:Dead man's hand (because *bleep* yeah C4!)
Reasons For Recommendation: Riot shield covers your back while your badass sniper rifle demolishes all of the poor souls who dare step foot in your path. This class is obviously the best class ever and you should only use this class.

Primary: P90 With Kick, Extended Mags
Secondary: Akimbo MP9's
Lethal: Semtex
Tactical: Concussion
Perk 1: Sleight of hand
Perk 2: Assasin
Perk 3: Steady Aim
Strike Package: Predator, Attack Chopper, AC-130
Death Streak: Who cares ?
Reasons For Recommendation: My ultimate run'n'gun class. Good on any map if you keep it fast and varied. P90 is good at most things, but is perfect for killing multiple enemies whilst hipfiring, has loads of bullets and a decent rate of fire. About 90% of my kills are on the foot hipfiring. I use those killstreaks purely for pleasure. The predator is my alltime favourite, the chopper is useful and needs no player input and the AC-130 is... well... the AC-130. Assassin means you can run without fear of falling into as many traps and without showing up on heartbeat sensors. >>>-----> Switch the P90 out for an AA-12 for some real fun. But if you do then change the Akimbo MP9 to just one with a red dot so you have at least a chance at a ranged fight. The MP9 is surprisingly good at range if you fire enough shots.

Primary: MG36 With Kick and Grip
Secondary: SMAW
Lethal: Claymore
Tactical: Concussion
Perk 1: Blindeye
Perk 2: Assasin
Perk 3: Steady aim
Strike Package: IMS, Attack Chopper, AGM Predator
Death Streak: Who cares ?
Reasons For Recommendation: My outright support class, i just hang with my team and cover them as best i can. The reason for the MG36 is quite specific. First of all it has good starting stats and an OK site, thats good because it means you can freely use kick and a grip. The MG36 also has a fast reload due to using a clip rather than belt feed. This means you dont have to use slight of hand and can use blindeye, otherwise your character moves to slowly to find cover from air support. The LMG allows you to carry an SMAW as you have enough ammo to not need a secondary pistol. They both together make a great anti-air class aswell, not to mention the SMAW is surprisingly able to kill infantry with a good shot in an emergency. The claymore and IMS are useful for covering your team from flankers, the chopper requires minimal player input and the AGM predator... well, thats just fun. Basically a very well rounded and powerful support class. I did use the support killstreaks for a time, but after my third Osprey was shot down with me never recieving a single care package and the rest being crap for TDM i just changed back to assault.

Nah it's pretty obvious what to use for the easy route

Recommended class for something fun would be different though
