The ending to Medal of Honor: Heroes revealed that Joseph was planning POW rescue raids which means that Donnie was eventually rescued by Joseph later in the war. It's assumed that Joseph killed Shima when he rescued Donnie.
THIS IS SOMEWHAT THE ENDING IT ALL COMES TOGETHER.

Nice find, but WAY too late to have any effect on me or most any other Rising Sun player. People were expecting to find a conclusion to this story within Pacific Assault nearly four years ago.

I just hope that in the very near future EA decide to bring rising sun to an end some day.
