I'm looking for a way to make combat as seamless as possible. I usually hotkey my -flesh and healing spells. This way, I never stop in the beginning of combat, or whenever I need to heal. Is this a good hotkey setup, or should it be -flesh/conj. spells?

Just play for a while and choose to favourite the ones that you find yourself to be using and switching to the most.

Alright, I've decided on -flesh/conj. spells. I wish ps3 users could have more hotkeys, seems impossible though, considering Skyrim uses all the buttons.

You've got the Dpad for hotkeys, right? (I'm on PC, but the dualshock is my favorite controller ever.) Ask yourself what you use the most, especially that frantic switching mid-combat. Once you have Stability, most fights should be dealt with within the 2 minute duration, so I'd keep _flesh in hand, then switch to something hotkeyed for In combat. If you have a Bound Sword, or long summon (Dremora Lord, Thrall, or Atronach with Atromancy) do the same with it in the other hand. I usually only use 3-5 hotkeys even with my most complex spell jugglers this way, the Strategic spells (I.E. cast before, or outside combat) are the EDC, while hotkeys are for Tactical (I.E. cast in combat, and swapped often) spells like Destruction, Flaming Familiar, and Illusions. Basically anything with a short duration, that you tend to spam a lot, and swap out for something else you need as the battle situation changes, and evolves.

I've got Destruction boiled down to: Bolt, usually Lightning, or Thunderbolt for my arrow: AOE, Fireball, Ice Storm (Preferably because it goes through cover, slows, and sweeps a long wide swath) or Flaming Familiar (Comboed with Ice Storm to detonate it, and cover both of the common resistances.) and defensive, such as Flame Cloak when the last stragglers close, and I run out of room to maneuver. If you use Wall Spells (the way I do, not as Walls, but roads of fire/cold for the sluggers to run down, or be kited over) you don't need much more on offense.

Illusion is when it gets complex, because it adds Frenzy to get everbody fighting each other in the kill zone of one of the AOEs, and Invisibility to avoid being targeted at all. The latter stays out, so I can cast it right after an offensive spell, usually a summon, but that's a dedicated build. It would really help if you could list a spellbook. Not the whole thing, but the ones you use the most.

I've just hotkey'd all my spells and most of my shouts. Easier than going through the menu's.
