reading skill books is better to postpone for later levels only because it is bigger gain to level exp wise from e.g. 70 to 71 than 20 to 21. that is only reason not to read skill books right away that i can think of...

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but it's a good trick for 360 players. When you're ready to wait, press A to wait and immediately press the guide button. You'll be able to see in the background time will go even faster than it normally does whilst waiting. 24 hours pass in 10-15 seconds.

62. You can check the upgraded status of an item without having the materials to actually perform the upgrade. For example, I was using an upgraded Ebony Greatsword, and had picked up a Glass Greatsword. I wanted to see how much damage the Glass Greatsword would do, so I went to a Grindstone. I pressed A to see what the damage on the Glass Greatsword would be, and was shown the resulting damage, despite the fact that I didn't have a Refined Malachite in my inventory at the time.

I heard from a co-worker that if you go deep into the mountains to the south west you can find a huge monument to a penis. Can anyone confirm this?

Before u give arrows to people to fire like ebony or glass or any others you need certain perks or it has no effect, look it up you will need some pickpocket perks.

59. dont read skill books. if you want to read em save before doing so.
reason: lvl up lot of random skills just makes your enemies stronger while you yourself will never use most of those skills (by your lvl going up and enemies scaling with you)
I'm afraid I have to disagree with this tip. firstly mobs don't level with you (though there is some element of levelling where their equipment will get better, especially for the boss). dragons and giants will always have the same stats from when you are level 1 to level 50.

secondly, reading books is always useful - getting extra perk points from levelling up is always a bonus. My Orc is a melee specialist, but his sneak and lockpicking is quite high too, because i am OCD about sneaking and OCD about picking everything that is locked. I hardly benefit from those skills (arguable stealth does help me) but I'm happy to gain levels as a result of using them becuase i could do with as many perk points as i can get!
but once you get to a high level you dont see regular dragons so you see harder dragons like ancients and in caves no more regular draugrs all higher level like wights restless and deathlords

63. Always sell before you buy. Might sound obvious but a shopkeeper usually has a cap on the gold they can hold. If you buy something first then their gold might not increase. If you sell to them first, you can then buy from them to top up their gold, and then sell more in one visit.

Pickpocket someone who shoots target dummies with arrows, and take the arrows they were using (usually iron or steel). Then, give them one of the arrow type you want more of. They will now shoot that type of arrow instead of the one they were shooting before. Simply collect the arrows as they hit the target dummy to get as many arrows as desired.

strange ive used this before and seen my sister try in her game and it didnt work for both of us. ill try again though.
it didnt work for me either and they dont have any arrows on them to take
note that this will require the perk to pickpocket equipped weapons. -guest

definitely agree with that, skillbooks are easy levels. you should save them for when your skills are way high and take forever to advance.

pro tip: use a companion to pick up skill books and remove it from their inventory. can be read later.

no way to pick up a book as the default option is read.
