Subject: Where is the world is Sam Guevenne?

To any of you who've completed the quest he gives you, where did you find him? I read that he's usually in the inn in Whiterun, if he's not there, he's in one of the other inns around Skyrim. I've been searching for him for TWO days (real time) and I can't find him. Hours and hours of search but no results

I found him in the inn in Whiterun. He was just inside, to the right of the door.
However, it is worth noting that he won't show up until you're at least level 14. Since he's not showing up, I'd guess that you're too low a level for him to appear.

According to another site his location is a randomn tavern. I have the same trouble I now begin the search

Yeah I found Sam Guevenne at the inn in winterhold.

I started the quest in Whiterun, perhaps he is in another inn every day. Try waiting 1 day, check repeat etc?

I also think his appearance uses the radiant system, so you may have to have done certain things first, however. I could be wrong. Even if I am wrong, I have the Sanguine Rose and you don't

I found him in Ivarstead on accident lol. Wasn't even trying to.

Does he appear too in pubs that are scattered around the land, or just in the major cities?

I met him in Riften.
I think Sam Guevenne is a pretty cool guy. Eh stand around and drink anything.

Found him in Winterhold! Considering that I went to Winderhold's inn many, many times before, I'm convinced that he's in a different inn everyday
