Subject: Survival Island Server?

Anyone know a server that does survival island? Or would anyone be willing to host a server and play it with me? I would be able to get on most days after 5pm GMT, and at weekends and some other days all day.
If you can, it would be appreciated.

You know what, I've been looking for an idea like this for just a few people to join a home-run server that I can set up. I can't do it right now, but I will be able to set it up in a few days when I return home from vacation. If you're willing to wait until then, maybe we can get a few other people and play on this server.

I actually just thought of an entire server concept. Basically it will be set up in 5-day runs in which I recruit like, 4-5 players to play through some sort of survival map. Or some other concept like 'Week of Destruction' where we play on a brand new regularly-generated map and build a base and the various other amenities that a base requires and see how much we change the landscape.
I'll have you two set up to be in the first one, where we will play the survival island map using the vanilla minecraft server setup. Again, you will have to wait for me to make the thread and set up the sever though, so standby for that.

Vanilla is no mods right? if so cool.
I would host my own, but i need my dad to allow the hub to port forward or something and he keeps putting it off.
I think if we do Survival island, we need to keep to about 4 people maximum, maybe 5 at a push, because its really too easy with lots of people.
But me, you and Legolas, and maybe one or two others would be a good team i think. Plus you wouild have pig smarts on your team
Oh, and do you guys have skype? because then we can talk with that rather than text chat

Hmm...
Me, Las, NeoPower and Mushroom would probably do well, and out of us 4 Mush would be the newb-iest, although he knows his way around it.
Im just saying in case, i cant use any other programs like hamachi, would have to be straight up Minecraft, with a whitelist if nessecary.

If everything goes according to plan, I will have the server online at around 12:00 noon (PST) tomorrow afternoon. I'll set up the thread and have everything completely ready at no later than 12:30, again, if everything goes according to plan. I have taken note of all your names, and if you don't go in for the first, you will be at the top of the list for the second. See you guys tomorrow!
