Post any off-topic discussion (or general Dark Souls discussion I guess) here.

I only have a good amount of time to play Dark Souls on the weekend, it's sad seeing everyone in this forum go way ahead of me

Just got the game and I'll be playing as soon as I've had breakfast and it's finished installing onto the the 360. Woot!

I'm zerging as mad fast as I can because my neighbor wants to play it, so I probably won't get the full game experience till a second playthrough :/

Curt Connors, you must be grinding your teeth to dust in anticipation. Sadly, seeing the title screen on my TV was one of the most thrilling moments of my life. If you've played Demon's Souls, the first few steps into the game will blow you away (or maybe they will anyway, I recall you saying you've never played Demon's Souls).

Shadowcoust, tell your neighbor to get his own!

What do you guys do in your off time, away from Dark Souls and anything Dark Souls-related?

I would prefer it if we could keep as much discussion regarding Dark Souls out of this thread as possible, from my experiences I've found that general on-topic discussions often inhibit growth within a forum, because people are discussing a plethora of topics within a single thread, when really each topic warrants its own. There's a whole forum there for us to discuss Dark Souls, and I know I like seeing new topics popping up left, right and centre every time I login, so let's try and keep this strictly off-topic. =)

Tancuras, I try to keep myself busy, but at the moment my lack of resources just doesn't allow me to pursue a lot of hobbies. I used to write a lot of poetry, create flash cartoons, and did a lot of graphic art work, but not so much anymore. I really should start getting back into making those flash cartoons - that was fun. =D

Oh, almost forgot. Any requests for thread captions, or sub-headers in the GD threads, I'll be happy to fulfill (within reason of course).

When I picked up this game, I wanted to keep on playing White Knight Chronicles 2 along side it because I thought it was going to make me rage. I can definitely say that I died much more during Demon's Souls than Dark Souls but Dark Souls is still fun and very addicting... I wonder if I'll ever go back to WKC2? I hope so, but with my school work and job.. I only have time for one game.

I don't know if Dark Souls is easier, I think we're all just much more used to the play style because of Demon's Souls. Definitely agree though, I'm dying a lot less too.

I was having a little bit trouble at first, I guess because I was playing so much different type of games that I kinda forgot the control layout.

But as soon as I defeated Taurus, everything is going a lot smoother.

So who is going to watch Immortals when it released on theater?

I've also been job hunting, have a bit of school left in the morning and I've been studying the C# programming language profusely...and I have to admit, I've been learning a lot. I can wrap my head around the code, now, all that's left is to polish my writing ability and experiment with the possibilities. Then I can dive into a development kit and see what I can do.

Usually people look forward to the weekend, but I've started to dislike them with the long, long work days that are involved. No time for gaming. Damn. =/

I hope I beat Dark Souls before Skyrim releases. Damn so many good games coming out this winter.

As much as I'm looking forward to Skyrim, I'll be putting it on hold for a while. Too many games to play, and I've already got another lined up after Dark Souls that will keep me occupied for a while.

Bah, I can't wait to finish work today, it's just dragging itself along very slowly. I want to go home, get online and play, but I've gotta make a living somehow I suppose.

Anyone else looking forward to Skyward Sword as well? I mean, it looks flawed, almost unbearably...but it seems to have a lot of good points. Definitely looking forward to Skyrim, though.

Mass Effect 3, Uncharted 3, and Assassin's Creed Revelations will be my last "Buys" this year. I still have White Knight Chronicles 2 to play before the community disappears. Hopefully it will pick back up when they release DLC in december.

I sold my Wii, but I really enjoyed Twilight Princess despite its flaws.
