ERK THE MAGE
Exmus paused to consider Erk's offer.

Exmus: Alright... on one condition. Answer me a riddle. In a town, there is one, and only one barber. A new law dictates that all men must be clean-shaven, and the barber can shave the men ONLY if they do not choose to shave themselves. Your question: In this case, who shaves the barber?

OOC: The answer'll be pretty obvious if you pay close attention to the question.

Panting, Shadow Drinks the last of his Hi-Vulnerary. HP:13/14

"So Sven, hows that for a first meeting" Shadow says with an awkward grin. *Shadow lends Sven a hand getting up.*
"And before you answer that, would you like to come back to Settlers with me so i can give you your share of the profit when i get it? Or would you rather it for the next meeting?"

"Next meeting. I have my own quest...land dispute. Much calmer than this." Sven joked. "Guess we should...hide this guy somewhere, eh?"

Ranger slowly got up from the stiff chair he had been sitting in for the past three hours. Sleep had been impossible the past night, in the accursed inn at Settlers. Of course, the situation he found himself in didn't help matters any...

I have to find some manner of work in this town... I've heard that one of the generals of Favorin requires assistance. I will have to see about that. I should travel there immediately. It will take almost an hour to get there from here... He thought as he rubbed his bloodshot eyes.

OOC: I was under the impression that the Theft Orb was supposed to steal the second item of my enemy (IE. if a soldier has a vulnerary), not determine whether or not I receive the loot it leaves behind (IE. a wild cat's claw, or whatever) - I'm pretty sure I should get whatever loot it leaves behind regardless (because this is the case for other players, as far as I have observed). Please inform me if I'm incorrect in this assumption.

BIC:

I've got to be more careful, Scot thought to himself. That beast almost got me... Perhaps I should head back to town? But I don't have any money...

Great Baboon in the Sky, I'm in quite a predicament. I suppose I'd better just stay here and hope I don't get attacked again by anything too strong...

Scot then proceeded to sit against the tree and pile the surrounding leaves over his body to create a camouflage, as well as something to cover his scent. Hopefully this will help, he thought dismally.

THE SCOT
Well yeah, you should have gotten the fur since it's 1/2 chance. So you have the fur. But it's just a misc. or healing or etc item you can get.

As he was just staying there until the moring, he heard several growls..

FFC_SHADOW AND SVENTHECRUSADER

As the two new friends shook hands, the sound of galloping hooves sounded in the distance, and three other knights rounded the corner. Shadow and Sven jumped back on the horse, Shadow spurring it to move... but it was too busy munching on apples to care. In an instant, the two humans and the equine were surrounded, and severely outmatched. A knight in glistening silver armor trotted forward.

Knight: You are charged with assault, theft, and murder. Come with us if you will.

Sven, sorry man, but you decided to help him out.

BSmith EDIT: EtS, I was expecting a little more flair for their scene. The outline I gave you was just that... an outline. I changed it.

I'm getting off, but I wanted to say this: yes, your theft orb gives you a 3/6 chance to steal an enemy's non-weapon item in their inventory. I assumed (correct me if I'm wrong, Scarecrow) that Loot was separate from the inventory. And yes, normally you would get whatever loot the enemy had. But, in this case, the 1/6 chance was because the loot was rare; it doesn't show up as often as other loots, and when it does you have a 1/6 of obtaining it.

"Murder? Come now, if your going to charge anyone for murder, it'd be the horse. You claim assault, but that kid tripped and knocked himself out on a block of wood. And if your assault charge comes from this here Knight. It was purely Self-Defense."

"Assault, theft, and murder..." Sven repeated. "You can't do this. Why not? I'll give you two reasons. One, my friend was simply correcting the mistake of some idiotic noble. Two, the murder charge is inapplicable. Why's that? We didn't kill the guard. The horse did. Oh, and one last detail that might have slipped your mind...the guard attacked us. We attacked in self defense."

After a long walk to Sessadan, Tomato sat on the nearest bench. So tired, he simply said, not even aware "I've got to find this Saunders guy." He said, yawning. Someone next to him tapped his shoulder. Tomato looked and there was a man. "My name is Saunders." He replied.

Tomato quickly perked up. "Yes, I, uh, heard you needed some help with pirates." he said. "Mm." the man said, nodding.

FFC_SHADOW & SVENTHECRUSADER
The knight was clearly not moved by the two's argument. "The guard may have attacked you first, but he was doing so on our orders - attempting to stop you from stealing a very valuable horse."

Knight: Now, it's your choice whether to come quietly or attempt to fight us off. But bear in mind, we severely outmatch you, and can always call for backup.

TOMATO13187
Saunders: ...Oh, I'm sorry. You're looking for Steven Saunders. He lives down the street. My name's Joe Saunders. I need help with my pilots, though, if you know how to fly a plane.

OOC: =P

Dumbfounded, Tomato thanked the eerily similar man and went down the street and found a man, also sitting on the bench. "Hey, are you Steven Saunders?"

OOC: Way to make me waste a post, BSmith. =P
