So, as we know the game changes a bit during that seven years we spend having a good slumber. Ganondorf goes about taking over Hyrule and we wake up to find a greater need for a hero than ever before.

So what my question is, is how could the future have been improved with OoT 3D? What do you think should've happened or existed in the future that didn't? It could be something you think would be logical, or just something you think would be cool.

To start, the first thing that comes to my mind is definitely Hyrule Field. The fact that there's no enemies there apart from Big Poes is odd and disappointing. I felt this remake was an opportunity to scatter various enemies across it and make it seem like a daunting place. To come out of the dark and ReDead-infested town to a sunny and empty field is bizarre considering other places have also felt the wrath of Ganondorf.

Well, If ReDeads infested one place, why did they not infest Every place excluding Karikario?

Well, we know they gather in dark and scary places, like the Bottom of the Well and the Spirit Temple. Those places also look like where a lot of people would've died, and the same case for their appearance in the town. So with places like Hyrule Field where it's devoid of people, I suppose if you look at it like that it makes sense they're not everywhere. Having said that, more of them wouldn't hurt, haha.

I would have liked to keep the Deku Sticks. I know Link can equip fire arrows and the other magic, but it's annoying to waste magic and you don't always hit it.

Plus is could make unfreezing the King easier.

Deku sticks were my favorite tool as kid Link.

I have to agree with you two. I expected all hell to break loose after Ganondorf took over.. Now there are just fewer jars in the side room past the castle, more poes in Hyrule Field, and scattered ReDeads in the Town Square that you can't attack... I'm slightly disappointed.

Actually you can attack the ReDeads in the town. ^^ And it's easier too since they don't scream and freeze you because the town has a fixed camera. It's a really good way to restock on magic if you need it.

Since there were Stalchildren all over Hyrule Field when you're Young Link, it would've been interesting to at least see them replaced with Stalfos as opposed to being removed altogether. And then just like how you can get a giant Stalchild, you could potentially find a giant Stalfos.

I like to think of these Stalchildren as the undead soldiers who fought in the war. Possibly may be them. What did they say, that war happened a hundred years ago or something? What puzzles me the most is that surely after a mere seven years, they would still be there, possibly more powerful.

The Hyrulean Civil War? It's mentioned that Link is brought to the Kokiri because his mum was fleeing from it, so it ends some time just before the events of OoT. But I don't think time matters when you have magic and whatnot, haha.

They should've included enemies like Moblins in the field.
