Subject: re: GD: Temple of Time II - Ganon's Castle now in the Desert Colossus ------------------------------------------- Not to mention that the Garo surround you in a ring of fire, forcing you into combat. That was an interesting twist and something fresh.
I love the fact that there are not so easily deceived. They have great loyalty towards their master, immediately not falling for Link's disguise.

Subject: re: GD: Temple of Time II - Ganon's Castle now in the Desert Colossus ------------------------------------------- I think that may be part of why I was left wanting a bit more substance to the battle itself. All you have to do is put your shield up once the battle starts and wait for them to hit you and be stunned. Kind of drops the ball when everything else is rather cool. When you're suddenly surrounded by fire to stop you escaping, you expect a bit more fight in them.
I just ran around with the mask on so Tatl kept getting cut off before they could warn me.

Subject: re: GD: Temple of Time II - Ganon's Castle now in the Desert Colossus ------------------------------------------- With your love towards Gorons, Dark Arcanine, I am quite surprised that you have not mentioned the Nejirons yet.
Spoiler:Nejiron
quote Nejiron Theory
Nejirons bear striking resemblance to Gorons and may in fact be a variation of them, considering their names both end with "-ron". Another one may be that Neji- means imposter, and ron may mean goron, so it may be an imposter goron.
These guys seem to be the anti-version of the Gorons. Your thoughts about them?

Subject: re: GD: Temple of Time II - Ganon's Castle now in the Desert Colossus ------------------------------------------- I kind of raced past them when I encountered them. And clearly they are from Darkloft. But yeah, it's interesting to think that they could be a variation of Goron. Even more interesting when you consider their explosive nature and the fact Gorons in MM have the Powder Keg, suggesting experimentation with explosive substances (not to mention in general with Gorons, such as their association with bombs in OoT)...

Subject: re: GD: Temple of Time II - Ganon's Castle now in the Desert Colossus ------------------------------------------- Back then, I used my shield to deflect these guys away making them explode into other Nejirons. It was quite hilarious.
Their explosion nature is powerful and similar to that of a Powder Keg. Bah, where were they when I needed them to blow up the boulder blocking the ranch.

Subject: re: GD: Temple of Time II - Ganon's Castle now in the Desert Colossus ------------------------------------------- I should've tried that! Darn, might have to go back now and muck around a bit. Had a good laugh with Real Bombchus though.
I just wanted to use normal bombs to get into the ranch. Shortly after I remembered the existence of the Powder Keg though. And that alien-shooting at the ranch is WAY easier than people make it out to be online. I liked how the dog goes the closest one.
I cannot remember if I posted this, but if I didn't or you didn't read it you should check out this concept art gallery.

Subject: re: GD: Temple of Time II - Ganon's Castle now in the Desert Colossus ------------------------------------------- Ah. I love the 6th/49 image. The Master Sword in that image looks pretty cool.
Speaking of art, this forum is due for another header change. I am tired of looking at that same one to be quite honest. Haha.

Subject: re: GD: Temple of Time II - Ganon's Castle now in the Desert Colossus ------------------------------------------- It's really cool stuff and most of it I hadn't seen before. If you want they've got other games up too, like MM and WW. Not sure if they have concept art up for every game though.
Sounds cool but I dunno how well it'd work out. Very few graphic makers around these days and there's generally less interest for a game that has long since been established and already has a look. I wouldn't mind doing something simple myself actually but right now I don't have the time sadly.

Looks pretty cool. I actually felt they could've given the map a bit of an upgrade with OoT 3D.

Subject: re: GD: Temple of Time II - Ganon's Castle now in the Desert Colossus ------------------------------------------- Cool. And what ever happened to the Member of the Month thread? I only ask this again because you guys said that you were going to make improvements or something on it, but unfortunately I have not been seeing any. Then again, the forum is becoming dead, and with a few members about, there is hardly any point to continue on with that.
ALLTP graphics. I always felt that they could cover up the "cloudy areas" on the map with some new content, but sadly they did not.

Expanding the map in OoT 3D would've been cool. Get that beach and/ or swamp area we discussed a while back. I feel the game really could've used something between the Spirit Temple and Ganon's Castle.
