Previous GD

I guess I'll make the new one, haha.

Speaking of Donkey Kong, I might watch an LP of a DK title soon. The LPer I watch is doing Donkey Kong Country. Really gotten into the Final Fantasy X one now.

And it seems we've just missed out on the serious flooding. Looks like Sydney got tipped on with rain from the footage they showed on the news.

Groundhog showed its shadow on the 2nd. That's supposed to mean another 6 weeks of Winter or whatever here, but you sure can't tell. It's been so warm.

I was in the hospital last night Yesterday I was throwing up a lot and then last night ended up in severe stomach pain... I couldn't even move, turn or walk... 911 was called, and they mentioned a Nora virus going around, but I didn't have it, mostly because it was ruled out right away due to lack of a fever. Turns out I've got acid buildup in my stomach which led to stomach pain and vomiting which led to severe dehydration They gave me an IV drip with fluids and morphine that knocked me out cold....

And now here I am back home today feeling surprisingly better, sipping chicken broth.

Glad to hear you're alright. I seem to be on a good roll with my recovery with my muscles at the moment. Still don't think I'll get to work again before Uni rolls round though.

I go to my friend's thinking "oh, rain, good" and it was VERY VERY VERY BURNING HOT.

Oh, that morphine was good stuff... the moment it was administered into my iv via injection I was unconscious within 60 seconds. The nurse was like "You'll start to feel really hot all over, and you might have trouble breathing, but that's normal"; I was getting those sensations before he was even done injecting it. And then he stood there waiting for the morphine to completely kick in, staring at his watch, and I don't even remember him looking away from his watch and leaving the room before I was roused awake several hours later to get more testing done and realized I went out cold immediately and stayed that way for a long time... and boy did it work... the pain dropped from an unbearable 10 to an almost indistinguishable 3 or 4. :/ And then I've still been sleeping a lot since I've been home. They have me on a clear liquid diet for the next couple days which is supposed to then progress into a bland diet until I see my outpatient physician.

It's not burning hot here. It's still pretty cold sometimes, and cold enough to continue wearing sweaters and long sleeves, but the weather has been really off whack and unpredictable, and occasionally there's days you walk out the door and what was cold the day before turned into luke-warm/mild heat and you're like 'wtf where did the chilly temperature go'

What sort of things can you have in a clear liquid diet? I can only think of the broth and water.

I heard the rain is supposed to return within the next couple of days Kubrick.

Watching a documentary about migration. Always find them really interesting.

Can't say I am surprised. x3

I'd like to go on a pizza and Skittles diet to be honest. xD And speaking of food, I'm so glad I didn't have to eat something fishy again at my friend's place.

Also thinking we might do an extended edition LotR marathon before the holidays are over. Takes forever. x3

Funny how it wasn't that long ago that no one even knew who she was. Now she's like the... hmmmm, Brittany Spears of the younger generation? x3

Oh to have my own oven for it! My cousin's just about finished building his own though I think, I haven't seen any photos recently but I know he was pretty close to finish last time I looked. $20 a day for all three meals isn't so bad. ;.; Well it is now but I know a lot more than that is spent per week in this house on food. x3 But then that's four people and not one. xD

I have never met a living sole who's not seen LotR before. You must watch them! Plus I think The Hobbit is supposed to be coming out soon-ish... as is the first Star Wars in 3D which I'll be going to see.

A woodfire oven at home? I think I'd explode from all the pizza. x3

Clear liquid = basically exactly what yall have already said. Water, tea, broth, soup, I've been on the same diet in the past and they've allowed clear orange/yellow jello. Then a bland diet is stuff like apple sauce, jello, bread, pudding, noodles, etc. He (the doc) said I could start back on a regular diet after I see my physician but I won't be able to set an appointment until at least tomorrow and I've already cheated (I had a chicken guacamole sandwich last night)

Yeah I'd agree Gaga's the new Spears. I had never heard of her until 2009 when Just Dance and Poker Face started invading the mainstream radio stations. Since then she's made a huge presence and even I know most of her songs now (although I'm not sure which one Morphine Princess is referenced to.. lol)

Doesn't sound too bad - although, I don't like jelly. ;.; And I think a lot of people eat noodles all the time anyway, haha.

To be honest I've lost track of her music now. xD I don't listen to the radio so I only ever hear such things while in my mum's car.

And yeah he built this nice woodfire oven in his back garden. It's only taken like two years or something mind you. x3
