It has been announced that Empire Interactive is working on a sequel to this great game already. So what things do you think they'll change and what would you like to see in S&H2?

I know so far that in the upcoming sequel, S&H will be able to leave the Torino and give chase on foot. And we're being told the graphics will be improved as well. My hope is that Paul Michael Glaser (Starsky) and David Soul (Hutch) join Antonio Fargas (Huggy Bear) to lend their voices to this one.

I guess being able to run around on foot is a pretty obvious addition to put in S&H2. I'm curious as to how that will work though, seeing as how the shooting worked in this game wouldn't really fit an on-foot game.

The only challenge I can see is how Empire Interactive will manage to have both Starsky and Hutch on foot, and still have the game with a one player option.

It was good, and quite successful I hear. I've read many reviews saying that it's the best lightgun game on the PS2.
Plus, there's a S&H film out soon.

Right you are, Samus2. The free publicity generated by Warner Bros. North American March 5,'04 S&H comedy remake release is a perfect opportunity for Empire Interactive to make a game sequel and maybe releasing it around the same time. It's worth noting, Sony Pictures will be releasing S&H's first season on DVD sometime around Feb.'04, the same way they've done with S.W.A.T. and Charlie's Angels.

Yeah, I think that S&H 2 will probably do even better than the first game due to the publicity that the film will give it, and I'm sure fans of the first game will buy it.
By the way, did you know there's a S&H 2 forum?

For some bizarre reason, it doesn't appear on the PS2 action forums list, though it is listed as an action game.
