What is "Buckle Your Pants" even supposed to imply
With their multiplayer beta behind them, The Behemoth is excited to (finally) announce a release date for their quirky XBLA game BattleBlock Theater. Get your grubby hands on the next game from the developers of Castle Crashers starting April 3 for 1200 MSP (about $15). Do you like blocks? Do you like solving puzzles? Do you like friends? Me neither! Wait, just kidding! All these things and more in BattleBlock Theater.
Here's what The Behemoth promises you can look forward to in BattleBlock Theater:
"... you will be able to experience technologically evil cats, friendship, betrayal, co-optional justice, and several other forms of visual and audible stimulation."
... and so much more, I'd imagine. It feels like BattleBlock Theater has been stuck in development purgatory for, well, years now. Castle Crashers was initially released on Xbox 360 in 2008 after all. It may have taken The Behemoth some time to acclimate to being a bigger studio with money to spend, but the fruits of their labors appears to have finally come to fruition.
While BattleBlock Theater is inherently a different beast than Castle Crashers, it still has that same old Behemoth charm. Check out the trailer below if you don't believe me. Then find a time travel machine and get to April 3 already so you can pick up BattleBlock Theater on XBLA for 1200 MSP. Trust me. I am from the future.
