Subject: Friends - Will There Be New Episodes?

Ok so i heard rumours a last year sometime now, that they were thinking about making some more episodes of Friends.
I heard that they were all willing to do it, except for Jennifer Aniston (Rachel). But then i heard she agreed to it.
And since that, i haven't heard anything since.
Does anyone know if there will be anymore episodes and when??????
EDIT: I just found this. But it tells me nothing. Next year is already here and already going....

The only thing I've heard about it is rumours that they are all going to get together once more and make a film.

When certain former stars of the show hit hard times and can longer get movie deals. This is when there will be new episodes.

They can't play in new movies; they don't need to, because they are already rich & famous but if they do, it won't be a success [see Lost in Space].
I have heard rumors about some Thanksgiving Day Special Episodes, but not a full reunion.

friends and joey were both awesome
also i heard rumours about a friends movie but i dont think that is happening

I doubt it, It was left well enough and if they make a complete duffer of these 4 episodes that's what it will be remembered for the 4 bad episodes instead of the 10 great seasons. I read somewhere that Courtney Cox said she'd like to a Thanks Giving Episode and I also heard about a movie but I don't know if it's true and also with the Series Joey they cut down what could happen with Joey in Friends

I wouldn't like a movie tbh, it's going to be different from what we have liked. Some Thanksgiving episodes would be good if they don't mess the script.
Joey partially failed because the original writers weren't involved in the writing process.

It would be awesome if there was some new episodes but I don't think it will happen. I don't think they should bring out a film either, it would just be like the Simpsons Movie, which seemed like an extra long episode.

Personally, I'd love it. But that's a typical fan standpoint, everybody wants to see more of their favourite shows. But you've got to run that against the risk of tarnishing what was already just fine. The storylines wound to a satisfying conclusion that had been a long-time coming, do we really need to know what happens after? Why throw in some mundane so-so episodes four years after an emotional climax of the series?
Either way, David Schwimmer's been on record recently as stating that if there were to be a Friends reunion, he would not be involved, quoted as saying, 'that was ten years ago, its time to move on'. I could not wish them to make a reunion without Ross, his character was integral.
So things aren't looking too likely for new episodes.

Friends will never have any new episodes, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, and Matthew Perry are all doing well in their careers. The others careers are pretty much over, you can expect Matt Leblanc to fall off the face of the earth, same with Lisa and David Swimmer will probably just stick to doing voices in animation for the rest of his career.
