Recap:
Dr. Greggory House is the head of a special team of doctors at the Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital. He takes only the most difficult cases and it is his team's job to diagnose patients no one else can. Season 7 saw the life and death of the House/Cuddy relationship, resulting in House making an out-of-character irrational move by running his car into Cuddy's kitchen.
Summer Shake-Ups:
The cast was tossed about over the summer. Lisa Edelstein did not renew her contract and Olivia Wilde's negotiated a reduced load of episodes so that she could focus on movies. Neither actor is a series regular anymore. We will not see Dr. Cuddy, and we'll see very little of 13.
While losing two of the stars, the House team has added two new actors to the docket including Odette Annable as Dr. Adams (who is apparently a polar opposite to the recently dismissed Dr. Masters. Adams is going to be a lot more like House than any of his previous fellows). Additionally, Charylene Yi will be playing Dr. Park (who has been said to be shy, reserved, and an absolute genius). The plot of Season 8 is said to focus heavily on the two new doctor's perspectives of House -- ala the original team in Season 1.

Who's the new Dean of Medicine?
What happened to the days of The West Wing, when CJ Creg stepped down as White House Press Secretary they just stopped focusing on that position as much? In any case, the new trend in TV show is "filling positions," for better or for worse, and House needs a new boss.
There's a lot of speculation but we have been told "it's someone we've seen before." We've also been told that there's going to be a "shift in the power dynamic." With so many new members being added to House's team a lot of people are assuming that the new Dean of Medicine is going to be Chase and that Foreman will have taken House's place in House's absence. A lot of people also want to see Cynthia Wathros return.

I'm glad that I watched the very end of the last season. Looks like at least some fresh stuff in the works. I hope they drop in another concept episode or two like "Broken" or "Baggage."

I miss watching House.
I can't find what bleeping channel it comes on anymore. I haven't seen all the seasons, I'm not even sure which one I stopped at because I didn't watch any of the shows in order, just only as they appeared on TV. So really, what channels can I find House on? I love that show and want to catch up.

WhisperintheWind, House should be on Fox starting monday nights on October. If you have a TV and cable it should be one of the channels in the teens or single digits. If you don't have a TV, hulu usually puts up the episodes the day after airing. It looks like they have 5 episodes from the last season right now and are offering additional ones to subscribers.

Anyway I love watching House so I'm sure it will be good but I love Cuddy and 13

I'm fine with no Cuddy. She had her fantastic episode with "5 to 9" and spent most of last season just looking pissed at House all the time. Whatever.
Less 13 is going to suck, but I think Odette Annabelle will step in just fine. Stoked to see the Urkel back, too!

That's the reason I'm happy she's leaving. The relationship got stale in season 5, and it subsumed interesting patient stories this past season. I'm hoping the show gets back to its roots, despite the change in setting.

Yeah, that's really cool. I like that the fourth row is shorter than the rest. Season 4 was the writer's strike season. It was also the season were House was recruiting his new team and I feel like they did lose a couple patients that year. Patients saved is probably a good guess.
