I got it. Don't get it unless you have someone to play it with because after you spend a moth or so figureing it out and customizing a fighter, it gets old fast. Also the grahpics and customization chooses to the character's looks suck. Fighter Maker 2 failed at raiseing up to any expectation I ever had for it.
Get a real fighting game instead. Like Marvel vs.Capcom 2, Tekken, Dead or Alive...anything else that isn't Fighter maker.

it's an ok game... I mean afterall for all the other games I've seen with customizeable characters yout choices are pretty slim. This game you can customize everything... & I mean EVERYTHING. it mainly gets a bad rap because it's so frustration to figure everything out, to make things as smooth as everyone wants the game to be & to figure out the proper frame rate while making a character to make everything nice to look at & not too choppy.
I got mine for $20 brand new. it's worth the money... IF you've got the patience...

Yes, I have it and think it's the only game of it's kind. I think that the only way to make it worthwhile is to master the animation engine it provides. This is something hearing any tips about where to find programs similiar to the fighter maker that have instructions on the coordinate system it uses. Once you get this down, there are very few limits to the moves you can create, which is awesome.
i've been working on for a while and am looking forward to

I put up a review for this that some inquirers might want to read. (
User reviews)
I still say it's a low grade game. However, with the advent of the PS2 hardrive, if they decide to make a better quality 3rd installment, on dvd rom instead of basic blue disc, you can probably do so much more, and save more characters than the weak limit (thanks a lot memory card!).
