Yeah, MP is slightly letting down. That could be me saying, "It's changed too much! I hate it!" but it doesn't have the same feel to me anymore. I would like it if MP 10 (if there will be one) would get back to the basics of the original 3 or 4.

And bring back Mushroom Mix-Up!
Best. Mini-Game. Ever. Haha

I've found that playing a game until it's 100% complete can totally kill a game for me. I completed the first two Lego Star Wars games and MK: Double Dash and I can't get back into any of those games. :/
It just feels like overkill on the game tbh. I like to play through over and over and discover a little more each time.

Idk if you saw my post in B/W2's GD, but I even rushed through Yoshi's Island. I swear I got a better experience every time I played through it. Though one time I went through trying to score 100's on each level. Took about a week and a half to get through World 4, I think, before I quit the game. Haven't played it since either, since my DS and GBA have broken shoulder buttons.

Well I 100% completed Trine a few times and I went back recently and played through it another two times from excitement for Trine 2. ^^ I need to know and do everything in the game. x3

Oh, nah I didn't. I don't blame you though; I never try to bother about getting 100 on all the levels. Takes way too much effort. I'd end up dropping the game forever, haha. In cases like that I just take satisfaction from if I happen to get 100.

I got all 6000 points in the GBA version of Yoshi's Island. It took me 268 Yoshis, but I did it!

I love getting 100% in games. That's the true test of quality: if you can get everything in the game and it's still fun to go through, it's a good game. There are plenty of games I've 100%ed and will pick up on a rainy day or something, like Metroid Zero Mission. Despite playing through it in every major way (including all the ending images), it's a blast to play.

That said, I have never and will never get all the figurines in The Wind Waker. and I refuse to get all the Poes in Twilight Princess. Some games have ridiculous 100% requirements. (I'm looking at you too, Tales of Symphonia!)

I think the only other game I've come close to 100%ing is Skyward Sword, where I needed a few heart pieces and Goddess Cubes/Treasures. I also never fully upgraded everything, but that's not really necessary imo.

I did upgrade a few things, just not everything. Besides, I had my Hylian shield anyway.

I'm missing a single piece of heart in Skyward Sword

I've got literally everything else. All upgrades, including on all of the shields I used plus the Hylian Shield, all bottles, medals, gratitude crystals.
But I'm off of that 100% by a single heart piece.

MM though, which I've made obvious is my favorite game ( <3 ), I've done multiple 100% runs, and I've always had tons of fun with it.

You'd be crazy not to have done at least one shield upgrade. The Goddess Shield is the next best thing to the Hylian Shield after all. ^^

And missing a Piece of Heart would be annoying. Have you tried checking out a guide to see what you're missing?

Getting all the figurines in MC annoyed me to no end. I must've gotten about fifteen of them and then gave up. Just takes too long unless you do it bit-by-bit as you play. Cool idea, but way too time-consuming.

Because you get bored quickly with games? x3 Didn't you complete Okami though? I thought about 100%-ing Twilight Princess but I played through so much without a walkthrough alongside me that it would be too annoying now I think. ;.;

Anyone here been keeping up with the news about 3D printing? It looks and sounds really cool, along with some of the ideas that have cropped up on how to use it.

On the topic of completing games, I finally got around to completing Bastion. It was included in the most recent Humble Indie Bundle, and it is one of the best games I've ever played. Amazing gameplay, amazing graphics, amazing soundtrack, it's all great. Has anyone here played it before?

On 3D printing, I've seen nothing of it. Care to show me an article or something DA?

I think the only games I've 100% are like Fire Emblem and Tales of Symphonia. I tend to get bored with games really, really quickly as well.

Try giving this article a read. Discussion about it has only really shot up now though.

I've played the demo of Bastion and enjoyed it. Still amused that a guy got the voice actor for the narration to narrate his wedding.

Like Skyward Sword? I tend to have to play a game right until the end after purchase. So if I can't get far through one, then I know it must have a fair few issues.

I actually started playing Skyward Sword again. I'm stuck at Lanayru Desert (spelling is horrible I think), so my progress is going slowly, but I am playing . I used to be a huge stickler for completing games, but lately my motivation has been nothing but dry and lacking. Not sure what it is, but even great games like Skyward Sword have me either playing at ridiculously slow and unenthusiastic speeds or just forgetting it all together.

I can't think of a game I've ever got 100% completion on. I don't get a chance. I tend to just complete a game, then my interest immediately disappears. Happened with Skyrim, Grand Theft Auto IV (I only completed one of the DLC things, couldn't even make it through the game), almost Skyward Sword (never bothered to do the final fight) and Assassins Creed: Brotherhood to name a few. When I played WoW for a few months last year, I got to the max level and just stopped playing that too. Maybe I am broken.
