There is no "best" because everything has a counter to it.

Steel has the most resistances.

Electric and Normal only have one weakness.

Yeah, there's really no 'best' or 'worst,' it probably depends on personal taste.
Cause someone might think that Fighting is the best and someone else might think that Ghose it the best. It really depends what you think.

Water/Steel is absolutely amazing. only downside is that Grass is now 1x
Electric is 2x

But fire is 1x
and steel is .25x

Empoleon is a beast.
There arent many good "Steel" types.
Steel types as in JUST steel type.

Empoleon would have to be the best
(type wise)

If there was a best or worst, I would probably have trouble deciding which type is stronger than which.

I'd say Dragon is the best "move type", since moves of this type are only resisted by Steel-type Pokémon, which easily get destroyed by either Earthquake/Superpower or a Fire-type move, which most Dragon-type Pokémon can learn.

agreed. one of the best bullet puncher counters. Though he's the only who has that excellent typing.

IMO, water would be the best. Since most of them are all bulky and there are so many moves that a water pokemon learns.

No ones favorite is fire? Fire type moves have a great attack! Many fire type moves can OHKO a opponent. I also think psychic and normal moves are awesome.

While there isn't a best or worst type, you can still list the advantages and disadvantages of each type.
For example, Normal is only weak against one type, while it isn't strong against anything.

As every said... There is no "best". But I would say anything with a Bug/Steel typing since only fire moves can do a lot of damage.

Sorry, but for once i have to agree with something you say.

Dragon is pretty much the best type around. One of the reasons i don't like dragons much is because a lot of them are just too darn powerful.

(and Fire, as mentioned above, is my favorite type. But it is not even close to the top as far as types go.)

They speak the truth. Take it from me, Steel is the best-type defensive wise. You'll have to rely on the secondary type for offensive moves.
