Pommy, on block smash, use Pokemon with five power and at least four stamina. Keep each Pokemon in for thirty blocks, and when the next set is coming in switch Pokemon so theres absolutely no wait time on a switch. You're switching while the blocks are, so as soon as the blocks come in you can keep on going. Good luck!

Wow. I didn't know people posted results. I don't use Aprijuice to raise performances so... here's mine:

Hurdle Dash - 80.1 Sec (Darn. Off by 0.1 sec... )
Pennant Capture - 46 Flags (Hate this one...)
Circle Push - 66 Points
Block Smash - 140 Pieces
Disc Catch - 88 Points
Lamp Jump - 523 Points (Love this one)
Relay Run - 19.0 Laps (Love this one too)
Ring Drop - 175 Points
Snow Throw - 79 Hits
Goal Roll - 12 Points

Pokeathlon Total Points: 4993
Collective Trophy: 10
Trust Trophy: 9
Potential Trophy: 8
Friendship Trophy: 10

Medalist Pokemon: 165 (I just use the pokemon I have in my PC. Use 1 or 2 pokemon that excels in one event to help your other pokemon get medals you need. They don't need to be outstanding, they only need to win in the end by the points gathered.)

[For Block Smash, I'd suggest you try keeping your power aura red by hitting the cracks for as long as you can. Switch when your pokemon starts to sweat. Try to switch while the blocks are piling up to save time. Use pokemon with 5 orange power and 4~5 stamina it'll be a piece of cake.]

Kim on Hurdle Dash, just try the team i used to get to the finish in just over 78 secs. Chimchar Togepi and Rapidash. This same team also got me 19.4 laps on Relay Run. it may take a few tries to adjust to the quickness of the 3 with Hurdle Dash, but just keep trying. You'll get it eventually. O and Chaos that's about where i started at with everything so don't feel bad. now i'm only 2 trophies away from finishing the whole thing.

The sad part is that I've had the game since the NA release.
But since I posted that I have gotten trophies in 4 individual games

I've gotten Better!
Hurdle Dash 83.8
Pennant Capture 35 (still:()
Circle Push 53 Points
Block smash 120 Blocks
Disc Catch 56 points
Lamp Jump 503 Points
Relay Run 18.2 Laps
Ring Drop 148 points
Snow Throw 54 Hits
Goal Roll Still 8 Points.

My tips,
Hurdle Dash- Well, it's kinda Basic, but have at least one 4-5 Jump level pokemon. Speed is a given.
Pennant Capture- I need help!
Circle Push- Get a 5 star power pokemon and push them all off then take position for points.
Block Smash- 5 star power, 5 star stamina, some skill will help.
Disc Catch- Basic, But arrange your team into high jumpers and not so high jumpers. Also Power helps to push off the other teams.
Lamp Jump- High Jumpers, with a bit of skill.
Relay Run- If nothing else, a 4 star stamina will help and at least one speedy guy.
Ring Drop- My two ways to smash the other teams. 1. (this sounds wrong) Jump on the other teams to get them out of the ring. 5 star Jump and 3+ power helps. 2. Ram into them with 5 star power and 3+ stamina.
Snow throw- as i said earlier, spam one team.
Goal Roll- Dribble the Ball with fast pokemon or Use Megainium/other 5 star power, skill and stamina to smash the ball. The Skill will be the most important.

On Ring Drop, just use Salamence. 5-star power and 5-star jumping=major owning

Has anyone seen Regigigas doing Block Smash? Instead of edging forward, he bangs his hand on the blocks.

quote El Jako
I just started doing the Pokeathlon thanks to my little bro. He played it a few times and said he liked it, but I still wouldn't go. Finally he convinved me to go, and that's all I've been doing for the past two days. I love it, and I'm pretty sure its what I'm gonna be doing most of the time. What are your records so far? I wanna see how mine compare, since the only person I have to judge off of is my little brother. Here is mine so far:

Hurdle Dash-83.8 Seconds
Pennant Capture-40 Flags
Circle Push-61 Points
Block Smash-136 Pieces
Disc Catch-86 Points
Lamp Jump-514 Points
Relay Run-18.4 Laps
Ring Drop-200 Points
Snow Throw-61 Hits
Goal Roll-6 Points

I also have 4,011 Points (check the big statue of you in the last room to see points). I have nine Collective Trophies, two Trust Trophies, 7 Potential Trophies, and 8 Friendship Trophies.

And as a question, what are your medalist Pokemon? I need some more to get the rest of the Trust Trophies.
the worst part of the pokeathlon is the pennant capture
