It's in the mountains by the Sylvarant Renegade Base.
If you've forgotten where that is then you should go to Triet.
It's like.. directly north(west a little, I think) of the base.

OK, face northeast when you just come out of the Sylvarant Base via transport-thing. Fly for 2-3 seconds. You should be right on top of it.

I see, well, you do not have to worry about the tre till much later in the game right before disc 2.

You have to go to the Linkite Tree I think a bit before the Iselia Human Ranch *thinking*
