I'm sure there must be some easy to participate in games, which don't necessarily rely on heavy spamming.

Can someone introduce a rule in the chain story that people have to post more than half a sentence and make sure that what they post actually makes sense?

Example : This...

quote X
[other stuff edited out]

Seeing that the balance of stupidity had been restored, the huntress walked away and...

was followed by this...

quote Zack891
Trampled by the huge Ukanlos.....

makes no sense.

It only needs one word to make a bit of sense and even then the origin of this Uka isn't explained.

The chain story needs more structure, so it's an actual story and not just a combination of barely related sentences.

The point of that thread as far as I know is not to make a logically perfect story, but to have fun and I think adding the stranger things makes it so, because one can come up with an even stranger response and you're actually promoting some kind of imagination rather than have dull predictable sentences one after another. The thread creator doesn't seem to mind that either.

I have no problem with random things happening in it.

My issue is that nothing is explained and the sentences make no sense some times. Which is more to do with the posters lazyness that it is to do with the content.

Plus people need to post more than a few words...

Added a rule to the thread's header. Keep me posted if there's any more problems. It's a great thread, but you're right in that people are a bit lazy when posting there.

Actually,I am bothered by this, especially posts that are not related to the last post in any way,it makes me cringe when I read through the story.
It's just that I can tolerate Stupidity much better than X

So,I'm agreeing to Machi's Edit and I have changed the rules

Everyone can tolerate stupidity better than me...

And that's saying something... I'm usually pretty tolerant of the mentally challenged considering I seem to work somewhere that only employs them.

Rule of thumb is to send me a few paragraphs and get it approved.

Is the "Monster Realm!" Thread moderator approved?

And I still propose a Whodunnit, maybe not something as complicated as a Whodunnit, perhaps a Roleplay?

They always fail. But if the mods approve I'll participate... If you don't mind me being flaky with updates.

All of them flop, I've tried about 4 or 5 within the past year.

That roleplay you did last time was pretty fun, although flops towards the end.

I think an complete revision of our forum rules is in order. There's too many.
