OMG COD5 is a great game but for some reason i don't find the online play as addicting as COD4 .

+1

It's still awesome though. As i've said before, its a different experience for us seeing as we played CoD4, there's nothing much new now, we know what to expect.

When i first played CoD4, i was blown away. I was amazed. Now, its still the same as CoD4, so obviously i'm not going to be as impressed. Its like an add-on for CoD4 really, which takes it back into WWII times.

One thing i miss about CoD4 though is that all the maps were so much clearer than the ones on CoD5. Its much more pleasant to play

I agree about the maps being unclear.
The amount of times I've just missed someone and ran straight past easy kills is ridiculous.

It happens in every Forum; there isn't that much that can be done

Anywayy, I'm back! I haven't been online since Friday because my telecommunications cord was torn out of the ground when the next door neighbours' were digging! Which means I had the most boring weekend I have had in a long time; no home phone, no internet and I had no phone credit which meant I had no contact with the outside life...

Edit: Ermm...Isn't there already a General Discussion Thread made a fair while ago?

Plus, that's for Call of Duty 5, [PS3].
This is world at war

Anywho, I'm thinking you should sue them for breaking your cable.

To be fair this is GD and that is on-topic GD, it might not be much difference to you but the two to me are entirely two different threads.

I agree with Zuke.
We should keep the more active, and general thread for us to talk in, and the other to discuss WaW.

When I was at a mates house playing this game, I got lost. WITH A MAP. XD

Im only good at hiding and killing. If you have me in your clan, never give me a map.

SO Yeah...

Um, COD5 and WaW are completely different, are they not?

Yeah apparently so. Technically this is not CoD5, its Call of Duty: World at War, and Infinity Ward are going to be working on Call of Duty 5

What do you mean you got lost with a map?

I think he means he can't locate people, even with the map.
That's kind of stupid there Arun.
I can't wait for the first gameplay footage of CoD5 though, anyone else as excited as me?

No.

Play this game first before even thinking about any future ones lol

I cant get excited about it without knowing even where it's going to be set

I have played.
And I'm getting.
But I'd still get this one as well, because it's made by infinity ward.

I'm guessing CoD5 will be set in modern times, seeing as how the last CoD4 was in modern times Hopefully Infinity Ward will make it a brilliant game.
