Here's where everyone can discuss the latest information you've seen on the game. To start us off, what does everyone think of the gameplay footage so far? The gameplay looks much closer to the original Budokai series' fighting system than the Tenkaichi series', which isn't a bad thing at all to me. But there also seems to be a lot of changes which are hopefully for the better. One thing I've noticed is that the pace of fights seem to be generally a lot faster than B3's.

It's nice to see there's so much info already known about the game even though it was so recently announced. Although DBZ games are rarely if ever delayed, I would've been extremely disappointed if this one was. Fortunately it's not looking that way, unlike most PS3 games.

It seems that in the Nappa vs. Goku vid,Its a combination of Budokai and Shin(Series,not actual games).
I just recently played Shin budokai Another Road,and Nappa's Mouthblast,Goku's Kamehameha and Goku's own normal punches and Kicks seem similar to the Shin Budokai Another Road game.
I DO like the opening sequence for the battle.I hope the opening sequence is Customized for EVERY set(pair) of characters.
I still like how Krillin Came to the rescue.It seems that there is Going to be an assist character system like Naruto Shippuuden:Narutimate Accel 2.
I also enjoy The switch-stage thing.I also hope there are beam struggles though.I think there will be online,but I am not sure.It sounds like in the Interview that the customize system will be like in Budokai 3.
wow,I'm amazed I can type this fast.

Same here XBOX Live well sell out which this probably and PS Store should allow to buy bonus features for the game, extra characters maybe for XBL/PSN bonuses and stages perhaps.

FTL. Extra content isn't good for fighting games. Why? Shows the developer was too lazy to put in to begin with.

Other games such as action games(DMC, NG, etc.) and Shooters(map packs) are fine because they really do require some attention to them.

It's just not the same with fighting games where slight balance tweaks are the only necessity.

It proves they were lazy? They make the stuff Downloadable so they will have time to work on the character/stage/etc. Not cause there lazy.

oh i see my mistake now i didnt read carefully the discussion part sorry

actually it does make them look lazy, but it could be good on just adding maps and all that moves but nothing more unless its for online then its okay but nothing to major

You truly would be surprised. Downloadable content for fighting games, especially anything Anime based, is generally planned out well ahead of time.

As an example, we'll use the 360's Naruto game. Shikamaru was planned to be a downloadable character on Day 1. Granted, he didn't arrive until a month later.

At no point should a fighting game ever need DLC. Why? It's a far more simplistic game where level design doesn't matter.

But to add all the characters we needed in all sloppy from the begining would be stupid they wont postpone the game just for a few characters, witch is why DLC would be helpful...

When there isn't even a confirmed date, there's no point to it.

At this point, if they were to announce, "Yes, the game will feature downloadable content" before a release date is announced, that shows a lazy developer.
