Guys are too thin in TS2. Very difficult to shoot them. Not to mention you move a million miles per hour in this game. Guess that's the 16:9 ratio of the game to have more action in the split screens. Still, not cool.
Guns don't have a spread. I mean, you blast the minigun at someone but the gun shoots with practically dead on accuracy. That's why the reaper was so cool in PD. The guns that should spread in TS2 don't.
The aiming is too jerky in TS2. It's more like running with a crosshair rather then for precision. Just have a crosshair then and make the aiming stationary and force a steady screen. And I wish you could choose the opacity for these crosshairs because in some levels or in some action you lose sight of your crosshair.
Can't edit heads to bodies to create your own custom character. Weak. I can tolerate the cartoon themed characters somewhat but not allowing me to change them up alittle bit... booooo.
No hands are visible holding the guns as you shoot. Tommy Gun, anyone? Lame.
Reloading is dumb. Like Bond, yes, but then you have weapons like the 12 gauge that reload normally... what? Go either/or... not in-between. Should've just gone PD reloading because you lose that whole element of withdrawing and being vulnerable for a second to reload your clip which is great.
Weapon changing is inferior to PD. Scrolling through weapons... how primitive. In PD you just hold the button and jump to the gun on the quick inventory display.
I played PD religously. Heard about this game called Time Splitters 2 that was getting rave reviews and me and company thought those days would return to us once again on the gamecube. Due to playing PD til this day occassionally, everything PD has over this game I can see very clearly.

*sigh*
Timesplitters is mean to be ridiculous and fun. It was never meant to compete with other shooters. You shouldn't play games so seriously, honestly, play for fun and have fun instead of criticising a game that is simply different.

As much as I loved both Perfect Dark and Goldeneye, I didn't really have a serious problem with this game. The only thing that really got me at first was the aiming. Once I practiced and got used to that, the game was a blast for me. One thing that this game does have over Perfect Dark and Goldeneye is that you can create your own maps. I had a lot of fun with that feature.

That being said...I still like Perfect Dark and Goldeneye better, and I probably always will.

You go to this forum. You must be like me. This game wasn't supposed to be like Halo or a very real game. It's a fun game that is not that real.

Yes, I pretty much agree with you. Have you played this game's sequel, TimeSplitters: Future Perfect? That game fixed some of the problems you mentioned.
