I don't think that's going to happen. Volitions already has a very solid foundation to build on with SR. All they have to do is start adding gameplay elements, a new story, an updated and vastly improved Stillwater, new missions and they're golden.

I hope it does, as yet another parody of GTA IV. Hahahaha Somehow I don't think that Volitions is done taking potshots at GTA IV.

I don't think so. Because while that might seem funny at first glance, in the end, it would make SR2 look bad and send the wrong message to fans and other consumers. How would you like your product to be labeled as "Things are not gonna be different!"?

I hope they are, cause I don't find it much if use to taking shots at GTA4, when they should be focused on the game. Cause think about it, if they keep taking shots on GTA4, and most have a laugh and enjoy it and they mess up SR2, which is very realistic, its not going to help much. Finish making the game 100% and don't worry about GTA4. It should be the furthest thing on your mind. Let the game speak for itself.

Don't be daft FB. Taking potshots on GTA4 won't effect SR2s development. It's not like they all down tools so that they can all put their heads together and come up with more jokes directed at GTA4.
It's the PR Department that does that not the modelers, animators, programmers etc etc.
Bring it on Violition. GTA4 needs to be insulted and belittled even more!!

The digs SR2 is making at IV is going to increase our expectations. I just hope they're able to match it, or they'll regret ever releasing that vid.

Did you even read my post?? Taking the piss and joking about GTA4 will NOT effect it's production. It's a completely different department.

Agreed. It's not like the developers are stopping their work on the game so the joke writers can tell their GTA jokes to the media. They are different departments and they can both do their thing at the same time.

^ Actually, at this stage, much of the progamming must have been finsihed. They'll probably be sending the game around to the testers soon.

Mostly yes, but I am sure they are still working on it and adding and taking away features and gameplay elements.
