Would it be possible to filter searches by catergory, like in accordance with the dropdown menu we use when posting (video, photos, etc.)? Im sure there's other elements that could be introduced as well, but I'll leave that up to others.

I think we need to able to sort the search (or results show already sorted) by date posted.
