Enter Sandman's one bitch of a song on drums. And you got it perfect? That's incredible.
Actually, it's fairly easy when compared to some of the other expert songs. I have it an 99%, but it's not gold starred.

They don't really need a Rock Band 2 since you can download new songs for the first one. If they want more songs, they can just put them online.

Unfortunately, nobody has "moded" (perhaps you mean modded?) Rock Band yet. They can replace the charts in the game (what you play), but the .mogg file type has people baffled and nobody has been able to decode it. And i'd rather have the DLC than a whole new disc because you can pick and choose the songs you want instead of buying a disc of 40 songs with (probably) quite a few you're not so happy with. Just my opinion.

9.2 million career score? What? That's me!

And to the person who is will not consider other's opinions about drums in RB paralleling drums IRL: It's not intended to teach you rudiments or reading sheet music or anything: It's intended to be fun above all. If you can do well on RB drums, you have *some* of the skills you need to be a drummer, and a lot of the note progressions will easily transfer to drums IRL. And since there's only four pads, you'd have to learn the drum positions anyway, but all drummers have their toms and cymbals set up a bit differently anyway. It's teaching some progressions and hand/foot separation, not how to drum on a 30 piece kit or whatever.

Well, I dun find that the drums exactly resemble a real drum set, however, I do agree with others that it allows you to learn the basic rhythms and beats. I dun play real drums, however, I can still play them fairly well.

For the people on here who want a more realistic drumset for rock band, Ion (whom I'm sure you all know actually makes electronic drum kits) is supposedly working on a Rock Band compatable drum kit for the PS3 and 360 that is closer to what a kit is irl.

snare pad
2 tom pads
symbol pads
Beefed up kick bass pedal
all metal construction

This is just what I heard from the guys at Gamestop on my last trip. If this isn't vaporware I'm sure as hell getting one.

Wow your wrong. You miss understood. It's true if you play songs on expert on rockband you very well can play in real life. It teaches you rhythm and hand eye/foot cooridination. It teaches you rhythm of songs and viratully teaches you the basics of playing drums.
Although these are not like a real drum set, these can very well indeed teach you how to play a real drum set. Like maddoggydog stated, it teaches you the main points, in rhythm and hand/eye coordination.

Wow! I'm sorry but you can play on expert for years on this game and never play the songs on a real drumset. You can argue it till your blue in the fingers but this is true. I myself have played for almost 20 years now and can assure you the ONLY way you'll learn how to play the real drums from this game is if you buy an electronic drumset, reprogam/reconfigure it to the games specs. I have 2 friends who regularly play on expert and still have troubles holding a simple 4/4 beat on my drumset(I have taught them both how to play Wild Thing by Tone Loc). The funny thing is is one of them has a better score than me. Go figure.

And to make this simple to understand billions of people can successfully air drum Metallica But only millions can actually play it.
