Well, since Wigan knocked out the favourites Manchester City, Arsenal are the favourites now. But of course, with recent memories of what happened against Birmingham in the Carling cup final, Arsenal can't take Wigan lightly at all.

Well until an hour or so ago my answer was Manchester City but that's gone out the window, erm, I'm not sure really. Common sense dictates that surely it's there for Arsenal to take it however they've been in a similar situation and not managed it in the past, It could come down to where the match against Wigan falls in their schedule and just how well Wigan can play on the day

At the moment I'd look at a Hull - Arsenal Final but I'm actually a bit more interested in it now

Would be nice to see Arsenal win, not fussed about Sheffield Utd or Wigan, Hull maybe.

We will get the job done we're good mentally this year. However Hull will be very very hard to beat

Wigan will retain the title i mean they beat Man City how hard can the rest be, although Hull City were pretty impressive and it would be pretty romantic if a league one side won it. The rest of the teams don't really impress me that much so can't see them winning it

Doesn't the runner up get that spot if the winner is already in Europe or does it go to a Premier League position then?

If arsenal win, and come in the CL places, then the runner up will get a spot and then 7th place in the PL doesn't get into Europe. If Arsenal win and come outside the top 4, the runner up doesn't get in and then 7th place in the PL does get into Europe. If either Wigan, Hull or Sheffield United win it, no matter what, one of them's in Europe and then 7th doesn't get into Europe. So basically Arsenal need to win it, and come outside the top 4 for 7th place still to get EL football. They might win it, but either way don't see them coming outside top 4, so essentially its just the top 6 to play for now.

Let's put it this way: it's Arsenal's to lose right now, given the teams still in the tournament. I'm sure Wenger, being a specialist in failure, can pull something out of the bag though to bottle it.
