Only been there once, police at the station sent us all to the same pub and then sent buses to take us from there to the ground.

Got stoke sorted for saturday, definitely doing Swansea and Wigan. Need to make a decision on Sunderland soon though, if i can get an u16 it might be worth it.

those of you that have been Stoke away, whats best way to get to the ground? looked round all the websites and some have said the walk isn't too bad while others have said it's too long, and busses/taxi would be a better option??
bcfc1875 DanAndersonKRO perhaps ?
First time the police only allowed us into a hotel/bar opposite the train station then had busses come to pick us up. Same transport the second time I went but that was from a pub we found after a fairly long walk. Defientley advise a taxi or bus, the ground seemed an age away from the station and that was by bus.
Got offered a lift to Burnley tonight but I was getting paid to drink beer at a market research event + i've already been that shithole so wasn't so desperate to go.

electronic
they search you about 5 metres before you go into the turnstiles bit, so dont have your ticket out until you get to the actual scanner bit, mistake we almost made there on sat

Considering Stoke away last game of the season seeing as I finish the Wednesday before it.
Doubt anyone I know will actually want to go though but I'm willing to go on my own.
Looked at trains, return from Leeds to Stoke is £28 (with rail card), Leeds-Manchester return (£10) and Manchester-Stoke return (£6) will cost me £16. D:

Inverness was quality on Sunday. I slept in after being out the night before so spent a fair bit of money getting a taxi to the ground, arriving as the players were in position ready for kick-off. :/
First 60 minutes were horrific, i was tempted to go home but the scotch pies at half time were amazing so at least that cheered me up. Then the last half an hour was absolutely quality! 1 down, 1-1, 2-1 up, all those goals coming fairly close together. Then we lost a late goal but scored straight away. Place went mental obviously! Atmosphere was good last half hour, was shit before that.
Overall an amazing day in the end!
Hampden for the semi-final next week. Huge game!

Yeah mate, even moles dad got in as an u16. They did have police or stewards checking your tickets before the turnstiles though. I'm still planning on risking it Monday, infact I need to talk to you about that.
Think were staying over for Brighton now.

Just been looking League 2 for grounds I've not been to in preparation for next season. The amount of trips down south I'm going to have to make is emotional.
Grounds I need to go to:
Wimbledon
Aldershot
Bradford
Bristol City
Dagenham
Gillingham
Morecambe
Northampton
Plymouth
Port Vale
Torquay
looking at the list.. that's not too bad actually lol
