UEFA Champions League
Saturday 22nd May 2010
Santiago Bernabeu
19:45PM Kick Off (GMT)
ITV1 & Sky Sports 2 + HD2

Van Gaal and Mourinho worked with one another at Barcelona and now face eachother in a Champions League final.

Bayern can make the Bundesliga being taken notice of again if they win. Inter will be looking to add the elusive trophy to their collections after years of controling the scudetto.

Which manager will be collecting their second Champions League trophy?

The final's not normally on a Saturday is it?

Think this could be Inter's year myself.

Hoping Inter win this one, would hate for Bayern to win it this year after United should have beaten them, would be a kick in the teeth.

If Inter wins, would Mourinho be the first manager to win the European Cup with more than one club? I can't recall anyone else doing it. I might be wrong though.

Come on Bayern, would like to see German clubs doing well for how they are run and how they conduct themselves.

van Gaal is in the same boat anyway, so if it is a first it will happen who ever wins.

quote Wiki
Only Bob Paisley has won the tournament on three occasions, leading Liverpool to success in the 1977, 1978 and 1981 European Cup Finals; 15 other managers have won the title on two occasions. Six men have won the tournament both as a player and as a manager, namely Miguel Muñoz, Giovanni Trapattoni, Johan Cruijff, Carlo Ancelotti, Frank Rijkaard and Josep Guardiola.[2][3] Two managers have won the title with two different sides: Ernst Happel, with Feyenoord in 1970 and Hamburg in 1983, and Ottmar Hitzfeld, with Borussia Dortmund in 1997 and Bayern Munich in 2001.

Then Mourinho moves to Real Madrid, and makes it 3 Champions Leagues with 3 different sides. None of which were Chelsea.

Saturday final...not sure if I'll be better or worse.

Oh and yeah Inter to win imo.

Inter to win, Cambiasso to once again prove his worth by keeping Robben quiet.

Like to see Bayern win, but doubt it. Saturday game FTL. I love midweek Champions League finals.

While it would feel weird watching it on the weekend, it wouldn't (shouldn't) affect my revision for any exams i have around during the weekdays. So I'm happy it is on a Saturday. Just hope Chelsea will make it one day.

Rooting for Bayern here. Fancied them to beat Man Utd so i want them to win the whole shebang. Also DanBug you called it UEFA Europa League in your post, just above the date.

First time, they changed it this year.

I want to see Inter win it, but only because of Mourinho. Will watch it and keep a big eye out of Robben though.
