Interesting ties there. Pompey vs Southampton obviously the must see. Can see Southampton winning though because the way Pomey are losing games. They aren't getting much luck either and losing to their rivals would definitly rub salt into the wounds

Can't see any other shock there IMO and the final 8 will probably be like this:
Bolton vs Chelsea
Man City vs Reading
Aston Villa vs Birmingham
Southampton vs Fulham

Just my predictions.

Not looking forward to Bolton away at all, the only real positive outlook on it I have is they lack the firepower to really cause us some problems. But we could so easily concede from a corner, or other type of set piece. No room for error. Verdict - win after 180 mins.

I can see Chelsea winning the competition overall, though.

Really fancy Spurs chances in this competition, especially with the likes of Man U, Liverpool, and Arsenal out. It's only really Man City, Villa, and Chelsea who are our biggest worries.

Then gis' ANOTHER home draw against either Fulham, Southampton, West Brom or Birmingham and I'm thinking the Wanderers may go to Wem-ber-ley.

Confident for WBA surprisingly. Win against Plymouth in the league this tuesday and that's 3 wins in the trot and we'll have the Sig back. Hoping WBA rest players too though.

Neil Warnock, Arsene Wenger, Alex Ferguson and Rafa Benitez are in a pub. Warnock gets up and gets a round in, Wenger gets up and gets the next round, then Ferguson and then Benitez. Warnock then goes up and buys himself a pint and sits down. Wenger, Ferguson and Benitez ask what the hell is going on? To which Warnock ......replies: "This is the fifth round lads and none of you are in it!"

not sure we will JM.

took it quite seriously so far although there's a midweek game on tuesday against cardiff away so who knows. i expect a relatively good team though and a win.

you going?

edit: scrap that. looks like we will be resting a few. players are shattered and a few injured/suspended. just hope we dont draw.

I should be going. I think our best chance of progression is through you fielding a weaker team in all honesty. Saying that, if we do go out, its not the end of the world, as i think safety is our priority now

I wouldn't say so mnolan. You played well against Man City and if Klasnic plays against Tottenham then I think you'll win.

Would love to face West Brom at home in the Quarter Final so that Di Matteo would return to the Bridge

I really can't wait for the derby! It's going to be electric.

Really hope O'Hara can play. Would be nice if Utaka & Brown are fit in time. Nonda and Tosic might also be signed in time so I hear.

I'm pretty sure you won't.

Is Nonda knocking about on a free? We'll take him up at the Reebok! Can't be worse than Vaz Te.

Yeah he brought out his contract at Gala. He's had a medical so it seems but he hasn't signed yet because of our situation and Storrie was in London yesterday hence the reason he couldn't sign.
Tosic is still waiting for his work permit.

What do you mean "I'm pretty sure you won't".
