New to '07. Trying to play it as much as possible to be ready for '08. In terms of Road To The Show training.....does anyone know if CLT (clutch) is worth anything if you play your own games or does it only help your players in simulated games?
So far I've guessed that baserunning aggresiveness is useless in user controlled games.......any others I should not waste my training points on?

clutch is good to have but its not vital to your player's success. It gives you an extra edge when your batting with the bases loaded with two down in the bottom of the ninth. your more likely to get a hit in that situation if your clutch is at a good level.
Baserunning aggresiveness sounds useless but it isn't. Even though you are controlling your player on the base paths, the aggresiveness comes into factor. you may have noticed that the computer will make your guy slow down and glide into 2nd base on a double, something that you have no control over. with a high baserunning aggresiveness, it allows you to sometime turn that corner and try and stretch a double into a triple, or even a single into a double.
the really onyl useless stat is the drag bunt and the regular bunt. the fielding all depends on how much you effort you want to put into it. but essentially, the better your hitting skills are, the better you'll be at getting on base and therefor earning more points to spend on your training.

If your guy has speed Id say work up Baserunning
It gives you more steals in simulated games
If you play most of your games I dont recomend it
