I have the game too but have the same problem. Maybe you can not take it off.. And how do you get more money? I don't get it:confused:

Your pony has to wear a saddle all the time,To get money u have to press 'home' then 'chores' and a list of chores will come up. do them, go back and you will get money.
Also when you are going on trail rides the places can sumtimes hav stars on em go there and there will be a task to do, showing u a certain amount of money you will get.
do it and you will get that money.
