Subject: Game help much needed

I am stuck, i am not sure what i need to do in the common room to move the task icon off of there as ginny seems stuck; also in the transfiguration room there is a cage i need to do something to....cast reducto?? it wont let me....how do i learn that spell from soneone......also in the library there is another part where it appears i need to cast that on a bookshelf but it will not let me so i assume i havent learned that spell yet....how do i do that? is this a game bug?? other than that i am generally stuck on the game and need help
