whenever i am one goal ahead/behind in matches at the near end of the game the fans begin to whistle, why?

because its the end of the game and a one goal difference is a cliffhanging climax. they are jsut excited.

read his post and youll discover that you are the idiot mate. he was talking about crowd noise during play. never was it even hinted that he was talking about a goal being scored.
