Subject: Under the Radar help needed

I've gotten to point in chapter where the car gets repaired, and I am supposed to leave garage with Alyx. Problem is the mechanic doesn't open garage door, and Gordon can't activate it either. I have replayed scene several times with no luck. Am I missing something?
