I'd like to see some of the characters from Dragon Quest 8, maybe Medea, Trode, Yangus and Jessica. I wouldn't really like to see Hero, as he didn't really have any personality in DQ8. What with him being mute and all.
I'd quite like to see a few appearances from characters in DQ 9 as well.

Past characters would be a nice easter egg, but eh. Then again, I've only played VIII (would like to play more, but, time + availability).

I've only played VIII as well. I'd love to see Hero come back. I don't care that he is mute, he was an awesome character. Maybe they could give him a voice this time. Also, Yangus would be nice to see. And Angelo was funny to watch in the cut-scenes. I guess I'd like to see the 4 main characters come back at least.

i'd rather not see old monsters or characters from the last dragon quest game they should come up with something new but apparently they didn't come up with new monsters as far as iv'e seen.

I own this game it's short but fun this is the only dragon quest game I own so i know hadrly any charecters in the video that was posted here you see your 3 allies collete(girl)prince anlance(guy with fancy clothes) and your dad, claymore(guy with metal arm. is Xiphos a previos boss?Xiphos the deathbringer?
