Some stuff I read in the new OPM:
It's set on a Pacific island, so expect beaches, water and tropical forest tracks.
Monster trucks have been confirmed.
Number of players online will be upped.

Yeah there was supposed to be a trailer released last Wednesday but it was delayed and is now supposed to be shown this coming Wednesday, ThreeSpeech has a countdown at the top of their page and it says " A new breed of Warrior will be Born" which is a link to the opening sequence of the first game and the countdown matches the time when the video is supposed to be released so I cant wait for that.
I also heard that 4 player split screen was supposed to be appearing on MS2 but not sure if that was confirmed or not

Saw the teaser it's insane! I love the tropical setting, and the tracks are full of different paths, awesome as ever.

sweet ive seen the vid an its look awesome cant wait ill be gettin it unless it turns out to be rubbish which is very doubtfull no1 was ok but this 1 has to be miles btta:D

My guess is it is going to improve upon both the great attributes of the first game as well as the things that were problems. I think Motorstorm was a good game, and Motorstorm 2 could be aclassic if they really go the extra mile with it.

Just download the HD trailer from the PS store. Or you can find it on gametrailers. Youtube as bad quality videos.
Its also going to be called Motorstorm: Pacifica.

MotorStorm Pacifica will rock! Splitscreen, awesome cars, including monster trucks... I hope there will be more tickets, tracks and pure awesomeness than in the first game. Also, the AI drivers should, imo, get rid of their player-blocking shenanigans. It kills the race when a schoolbus decides to park in front of you.

Think about how good the visuals will look in this game, especially since Motorstorm's visuals were amazing. It can only get better.
