Subject: Morrowind stats and skills

Somewhere yesterday while playing...either a deadra or a dagoth cast a spell on me sending most of my stats plummeting and all of my armor skills (unarmored,light,medium,and heavy) to a mere 0 ... does anyone have any suggestions or anything as to how to get the stats back to normal along with the armor skills...all of the ones affected are RED now....what do i need to do...it lowered my str. dramatically with a full sack of rare items that i had to drop to get somewhere safe...

this is due to equipping the sword Fury
Fury constantly damages all armour skills...the creator's way of saying "watch out for what you pick up...not everything is nice"
the only way of returning this back to normal is to re-train your skills or use the drainskill trick (links to a video)
and make sure you sell Fury, in GOTY however they fixed this, they made Fury into a constant drain which basically means when you unequip fury your stats and skills return to normal...whereas with constant damage they will be damaged forever

TY i found this out by reading another forum and someone saying NEVER equip the Sword of Fury...then went to a seller that i constantly used and seen it in his inventory...since then i have found the Mudcrab seller and got my gold up to over 200k and retrained all my skills and got all my stats fixed back up...thanx again

funny thing was that i never intentionally equipped the sword of fury...it was equipped either by scrolling through weapons or magic lookin for another weapon or spell...and was accidently equipped just for a second...but long enough to rip my armor skills to threads

aye it only needs a second to whack everything down, that is way a constant damage is dangerous and powerful
