I bought a Wii charger that plugs into the USB port. The charge station turns blue when on. Before, when we used to hit the power button, it would turn yellow and the charge station would still be on. Now, when we hit power, the light turns red and my charge station no longer stays blue. How can I fix this?

Yellow indicates that the Wii is either on a Wifi connection is sleep mode or at least looking for one. Make sure WiiConnect24 is enabled in your setup menu so that the Wii will stay in standby mode when turned off.

Personal experience tells me that charge stations for the Wii are absolutely terrible. I had one that worked for a couple months but literally ate away at my Wii Remotes. The $50 definitely was not worth the now dead charger packs that came along with it and the constant battle with working the red/blue light issue that you're dealing with right now. I just went back to buying batteries. =\

I realize this post is almost no help at all to your issue, but I thought I'd throw this in there.
