seems like it will be cheaper than the 3ds at launch price. (although the console it self will be same/cheaper than the 3ds's launch price although your going to still have to spend some more money for the controllers/ memory cards etc).

I actually think it'll be more than the 3DS but they will try to quantify just why it is more in the advertising campaign. The 3DS was a very expensive handheld but $250-$300 for a console is cheap, though in the case of Wii U when it is very much providing visuals of an Xbox 360 then even $300 looks pricey. Nintendo are going to have a very hard time pricing this.

Yeah it should be more than the 3DS, maybe $280 or so, if not the full $300.

this is not new news .. just additional assurance gor those that werent following wiiu deeply before ... this is what we heard more than half a year ago.

Well if a game weather its good or not cost 60+ dollars 100+ in some places then another 300 to 500 for a console then accessories going for 20 to 30+ each,that will REALLY set you back.
