Starr: On certain Wii games, how come on Wii remote, Minus button is not the cancel button? I have played a Wii game which was part of the "Wii" series and the Minus button cancels and returns to the previous screen.

Becuase different games have different controlls. How hard is that to understand?

WRONG!

Do you think that Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz has bad menu controls?
I've never even played that game so how would I know.
I am not wrong. Different games have different controlls. Write that out 10 times if that's what it takes for you to understand it.

Question:

How come the Classic Controller menu controls not B button to confirm and X button to cancel? One of us played a 1992 SNES game and it had these menu controls.

Sorry for the bump and trolling, but here it is:

Almost all vertical remote games, B is cancel. On Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz, Silent Hill Shattered Memories(?), and Call of Duty 3(?), Minus button is the main cancel button (although in Wii Sports/Play Minus is another cancel button). Maybe the Minus button is like the B button on a classic controller.

Or maybe it depends on what companies make the games and who within those companies decides what the controls are.

Yes... it shouldn't be hard to understand that different companies have different preferences for the controls of their games... and also, the games aren't all part of a series. They're individual games; there's no such thing as the Wii Series.
