Since twilight hack, the one i was intrested in for so long but never actually bothered to try is now blocked for Version 4.0 and above Wii. I've been looking for alternatives and now I want to actually do something, is bannerbomb good/safe?

If it was made to corrupt your Wii...
Well no one would use it.
I understand that.

But as you know: sh*t happens.

My Gamecube did the same thing back in 2005.

Took over a year and a half to get it all back...

Anyway, back to Homebrew.

Really? Sweet..
I think my version is either 4.2/4.3, I'll check tommorow when I'll be on my Wii most of the time due to christmas and report back. Just tell me how to use the files, because I have an SD card but not high capacity ready.

Bannerbomb is awesome.

http://bannerbomb.qoid.us/index.new.php

Just follow the instructions. Very quick and easy. Ask if you have any questions.

Also, another helpful link: http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Bannerbomb

i've been wanting to cheat a little on my GC games for a whiel and since i learnt there was an action replay app i found this links:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQB1NfpG-VI

and

http://www.emudesc.net/foros/wii-scene/161764-action-replay-de-gamecube-homebrew-channel.html

both of them talk about the Cmios or MIOS patch, in order to be able to run the AR, but im doubting if i should use the MIOS since i have doubts:

1) can it brick my wii?

2) my wii came with a mod chip in case i wanted to hombrew it and made brick recovery easier, how can i recover from a full brick?.

if any oen can tell me if i can use the MIOS/CMIOS patch without risks, on wii menu 4.2U, ill do it.

Is Twilight Princess the only game you can hack? And would I have to buy anything?
If you need to buy anything it's either the The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess or Lego Indiana Jones game to get the homebrew stuff onto your Wii. You'll also need an SD card if you don't have one. Well you were explained the Twilight Princess-based Twilight Hack in the original post in this thread, here's a wiki on how to get homebrew stuff on your Wii with a Lego Indiana Jones-based homebrew installer trick called "Indiana Pwns".

Hey jkcheese try this out. It's a wiki on a homebrew installation hack that uses not Twilight Princess, but Lego Indiana Jones.
