This installer.

To actually run this installer in HBC you need to throw it into the Apps folder on the SD card.

I don't think so, but I just wouldn't even bother updating. I doubt it is anything important anyway. Some Wii updates exist only to kill homebrew, so really I don't trust Nintendo with that.

Wii Firmware 4.1 fixes a bug in Wii Sports Resort and other games with the MotionPlus instructional video. Originally a flag would be stored by those games on whether the video had already been viewed, but that would have gotten overwritten when you ran something from the SD card.

Whoops, I overlooked this thread.
_______________

I would like to know if putting this Channel to use on Mario Kart Wii(or any other popular Wii title, for that matter)could possibly corrupt all of the saved data that I have stored in my Wii's memory or some other unfavourable event of that sort.

And don't fret, I'm certainly not one of those players who loves to p*ss people off on public WiFi matches, flaunting unlimited Star power items and all that(unless I'm racing with Friends, that is).

But after laying eyes on this, I simply have to know!
