For some odd reason, I have been getting the blue screen of death lately after about 45 minuts of play (basically the game crashes on me). Its odd, it says I may have not installed my drivers right (I just got new drivers) but the game runs perfectly fine even on max settings (which kick ass by the way ). Anyway, my brother has the same exact specs as my computer does; the game runs for him the same way but he never gets blue screen crash. Here are my specs:

OS: Windows XP (DX 9)
Processer: Intel Pentium D CPU 2.66GHz
RAM: 1GB
Video Card: NVidia Geforce 8600 GT (256MB).
Current Display mode: 1280 x 1024 (32bit) (75Hz)

So there are my specs, any help would be appretiated.

P.S: This may be a stupid/noob question, but is it true that DX10 is Vista only? I really want Dx10 but I hope it gets along with my XP. Thanks.

as for the BSoD problem, i have no idea. im surprised you can get max settings on only 1 gig of ram though. cool.

DX10 is only vista yeah. but as far as im concerned i would never change to vista even if i did have a DX10 card. XP > vista. but this isnt a vista bitching thread so ill shut up.

There's supposed to be a patch coming sometime, but I'm not holding my breath for it. I haven't even got to play this piece of shit with sound yet.

wait nvm i got it. You need to have high detailed shaders off. If you have those on and u get blue screen, turn them off and you shouldnt ever get it again. But KEEP IT OFF.

thanks for the help so far.
