Well here are the results, sooner than expected. Hope you enjoy the comments and find that I did a decent job of evaluating the pics.
Spoiler:Alpha
Really enjoyed this submission. Love the sharpness and the color of course. Fits the theme perfectly. Technically, the shot is spot on. However, if possible I would have loved to see the subject's face. From the looks of it this may have been at a fair or zoo, so I understand there are limitations as to how close you can get. With the parrot looking away it feels like the shot doesn't convey the animal as a whole.
Spoiler:livstme
Great story behind this shot. Enjoyed the use of color very much. My only complaint is the lack of light. The darker colored ceramics seems to fade out because there isn't enough light. Again, cool shot it just needs to be brighter so it really shows off the colors.
Spoiler:ShinyMilotic
More parrots! Definitely a cool shot. Love the colors on this animal and you even snapped a shot of it feeding. Only thing lacking is a bit of focus and light. Feel like the parrot is in the background instead of foreground and although the colors are vibrant they don't "pop out" at the viewer.
Spoiler:Paranoid Android
Another great shot using film. Great basic colors. I like the fact this shot only represents a few colors, yet it pulls off the effect wonderfully. I especially enjoyed the sunlight bathing the white snow on the ground. Just wish there was more warm colored sunlight coming through to really show a contrast between the darker blue side of the picture.
Spoiler:windowlicker
Talk about a lot of color! It's always fun to tweak shutter speeds or bump your camera when it's about to take a shot. Great use of color, only thing I would change is to have a darker background to make the 4-5 lights that are the brightest stand out more.
Spoiler:Capn Droid
Wow! Awesome shot. Perfectly represents color and art. The dark background accentuates the colors of the stained glass wonderfully. Everything was done great, but I feel like I have to squint to get an idea of what is depicted on the stained glass and that takes away from it's beauty. Zooming in would probably help. Or maybe picking a smaller window and getting a close up.
Spoiler:Chekkaa
Cool! Probably the most colorful parrot so far! I don't think I have ever seen the colors on the inside of a parrot's wing. I think this picture would have been perfect if the sun was not facing your lens. Being at the zoo, I'm sure you couldn't just walk around the bird.
Spoiler:Euphoric
Epic shot! Blue sky at the top right, pink clouds in center, a hint of red, beige, green and of course a rainbow beam. The fact that the rainbow looks more like bolt of lighting or some kind beam coming out of the sky rather than your typical arch is awesome. Is that a reef or island under the rainbow? The house on the right is in just the right proportion, it doesn't crowd the shot at all.
Spoiler:Vena
Really cool shot! Great to see all the different colors of the leaves in one shot. I really liked how the cooler colors of stream contrast the warmer colors of falling leaves. A bit of sunlight would have helped the colors stand out more, other than that it's great picture.
Spoiler:Xyn
Great shot. What kind of flower is that? I liked the vibrant red color, but I think if you only one prominent color to work with you need to make it take up more space. if you got a little closer and took a macro it would have made up for the fact there are only two colors. The picture is really good, but it doesn't fulfill the theme's demand.
Spoiler:Skadoosh
It's a nice sunset shot, but I don't feel that it represented enough colors. You did well in capturing just enough flare and the objects in the picture convey good contrast, but the picture is mostly black colored or the warm color coming from the sun. I would try get a shot with the ocean in better views to give you a broaden range of colors.

Spoiler:The winner is...
Euphoric!! I have to say this shot really stood out when I first saw it. It's wonderfully balanced and befitting of the theme. It conveys great colors, but the colors aren't all clustered in one area which sets up a great picture for your eyes. You can scan the shot from right to left and let your eyes soak in the colors.
Spoiler:Honorable Mentions
This round was filled with a lot of great submissions and I think it's worth noting these great shots by:
Edit: Included Skadoosh's submission and Xyn's...doh! Sorry.

Awesome. It's nice to win a round filled with so many quality entries. Well done everyone, and good constructive feedback Naked Snak3.
I'll leave a couple of days window for suggestions on the next round's theme. Are people keen on something quite specific (ie clouds or wood) or keeping the more generalised style?

By woods do you mean a place filled with tress and grass. If yes that may be hard for me.
Clouds sounds nice-a little challenging perhaps but still nice.

Man, that sucks ctrl.
I'm up for anything, probably not woods though. Can't find them anywhere I live.

theme: Wood deadline: SUNDAY 12th June judge:Euphoric
Bear in mind this doesn't necessarily mean Woods. Although that does fit the theme. I decided something a bit more specific, and yet abstract conceptually, would be an interesting twist for this round. I don;t think anyone should have a problem meeting the theme either.
Also now that from now on the requirement of posting a description of the shot, including how it fits theme, and also any edits involved (or statement of 'no edits' if that be the case), will be inforced harshly. There's been a few rounds now of letting it sink in. Now if you don't do it then you will be notified once. If not done by judging you will be disqualified.
