That's what people were saying when the first iPod came out. Who the hell needs 5GB? You'll end up using eventually.

obviously you'd need more space because this new ipod looks like it is tuned more specifically to play video which takes up considerable more space that music. that's why they have the huge hard drive.

Holy shit, the second one is sweet. Looks a lot better (in my opinion) than the "new iPod"

But I like my iPod to make toast.

Video files, especially for movies or several entire TV seasons/series get quite large. Photos and songs as well could get it close to 80GB if you never deleted anything.

I hope they work this out. Some of the possible designs look pretty sweet, but they still need some work. The one that's a whole screen would be awkward as the screen would probablty get easily damaged.

Yurr.

This "iPod" would be pretty sweet. 40GB for music, 40GB for videos.

40GB = roughly 160 half an hour shows?
40GB = 10,000 songs?
