Well I've tried absolutely EVERYTHING to fix my iPod, but it just won't work. It's not responding when I turn it on, I can't listen to music, and my computer can't recognise it. About the only thing I CAN do is charge it. When I try to restore it, it says "Can't mount iPod".

What kind of iPod do you have?

Some things:

Google the term "put iPod into disc mode", and do what it tells you to do. Connect it to your computer after its placed into disc mode. View it in my computer, right click it and click format. Once formatted in windows (which is not normally done), run iPod updater on it. Do this without disconnecting it between the format and iPod update.

You should be able to get it connected in disc mode. I think the buttons to press are play & action, or menu & action. One is restart and one is disc mode I think.

Post back what happens or doesnt.
